Be thankful that wasn't the Generations version.

That version of that stage made the barrel part come sooner, and ALL barrels are spiked. XP

And there's less boosting involved, so more momentum/timing and less adrenaline. DX

Sonic Unleashed is so much fun. If you liked Generations' modern levels, try it, the werehog levels are a chore, but man the day stages are so worth it. I think I actually had more fun with these levels than the ones in Generations.

@Gizametalman If my memory serves me well there isn't even an animation for missing the quickstep section, you just stop moving after you hit the wall and face a direction that is either right or left (in my experience).

I wish Colors was this fast and 3D; granted, it's a great game, and werehog-free, but it was almost entirely a 2D platformer ala Genesis. That's why I'm looking forward to Generations; it's Unleashed style gameplay in classic levels throughout Sonic's history.

I am not sure if you still play this game, but i've got a time bout 1.5 seconds lower. and i'll say this

1. The jump at 1:15 is GENIUS! never thought of it....

2. At 1:37 don't attack the enemies in the air, press the B button just after jumping from the fountain and boost the rest of the way.

3. And at 3:28 don't press those 3 buttons, if you fail then you boost up to the boosters which is slightly quicker

otherwise, i think you coulda gone slightly quicker. way to go!

this is good, and i aint flaming, but if you wanna go faster. as you exit the sewer that you nose dive through, miss the fountain on exit and run, as the homing part slows you down, especially if you do the hotdog challenges. this is about as fast as you can possibly go on this level though, so i'd call this pretty pro

My best time's 4:07:37, but I think I got lucky. This is still good, small things like jumping over the fountain at 1:34 and ringdashing at 2:13 can make a lot of difference.

Very awesome runs. i would als prefer this version over the wii's, but that doesnt mean its not awesome. even though the level design, graphics and speed are better than the wii's, the speed of sonic's feet movement is slow compared to the real speed he's runnning at(and the wii version does have this most of the time). and this version doesnt have the epic spin dash, which would really rock. anyways, awesome vids and keep it up...

in long alleyways like the open roads in spagonia, its always necessary to use the sonic drift while boostin to gradually move faster. This tip works everywhere in all stages

at 1:38, dont do those attaks. and if anything, before the next target marker appears, use the sonic air boost -and at 1:46, during the egg bot runs, continuasly hop and air dash to get full speed. notice during the egg bot runs, when you normally run and boost, the game limits your speed. (hop, dont jump!)

I'm so glad they released this game. In MY opinion (so don't get angry if it's not YOUR opinion) Sonic has been rolling downhill since S.Adventure 2 on Dreamcast. (I loved that game!) This game made me want to play sonic games again and I agree with mannieblaze23. This game is good on wii despite reviews! by the way great run Tritaga as usual! I love watching ur speedruns
