  • Very helpful thank you

  • @tulipsun21 My pleasure!

  • Sediesells......Again, I thank you.....Take Care.

  • Sediesells.......I have the answer.....patterns are patterns & some corners REQUIRE "2 chains" - and - some corners REQUIRE "3 chains*** and*** the CHAINS MUST BE PLACED AT THE "STATED" LOCATION". Take Care & I Hope You Have A Blessed Day In Jesus' Precious Name.

  • @incandescent62 Very good, I was going to ask for the pattern you were working on to help with the corner. I'm glad you found the answer. Have a wonderful day!

  • Your "hope" has been fulfilled! I "clicked" into your demo while searching for "tips" on "PERFECT" SQUARE CORNERED "SOLID" AFGHAN. Do you have any tips concerning the aforementioned? Please advise....Thank you for your patience & time. God Bless!!!

  • Excellent...excellent.....excellent!!!

  • @incandescent62 Thank you! I'm guessing it helped and that is all I can hope for!

  • I am almost done with a basic double crochet scafr however I am somewhat embarrassed at how the edges look! they go in and out and look like wave and uneven. I plan on folding it in have when my daughter wears it and she doesn't mind because she just wants to start wearing it, however would this method still apply to double crochet also?

  • @chinewmarie Hi there! Congrats on finishing the scarf. To answer your question, yes, you can use this method on the double crochet. If at the end of your double crochet rows you chained 2, then when doing the edging just put two stitches (whichever stitches you're using for your edging) in the row chain. If you chained 3 (some people chain two some chain 3 for the double crochet turning chain) then use three stitches in the turning chain for your edging. Let me know if that helps. Enjoy!

  • i wish i whould have known about your vlogs before i done my blanket i probly whould have had even edges and whould have had an easier time putting my squares together this video opened my eyes thanks for shareing

  • @DBoldin1 Hindsight is always 20/20. . . I'm glad I could help you see a better way. Enjoy the process!

  • @caliBornbEauty I'm so glad this helped. Feel free to send any other questions you have and i'll see how I can help. Thank you also for subscribing.

  • Hi Sedie.. I finished my blanket last nite. I put a different color of yarn on the top and bottom. I tried to border it n the stitches didn't look even lol... So I stopped. But I'll send you a pic of the blanket. It's called "Sedie Blanket".

  • @JJECKLE13 That's so sweet, thank you! I can't wait to see the blanket. I will get the video up as soon as I can on attaching a new yarn. . . or the slip stitch.

  • As I'm new to this I really don't understand (sorry). I'll wait for a demonstration. But thank you so much for taking time out of your busy schedule to teach me. I hope you have a safe and wonderful weekend.

  • Thank you Sedie for helping me! You are sooooo helpful. I should be starting the edging by next week. One more question.... How do I start it if I want a different color yarn?

  • @JJECKLE13 If you want to use a different color yarn, I would bind off. Then attach the yarn with a slip stitch to a corner of the work, then chain two if you're using a half double crochet edging, then start your edging. When you get around to the first chain, sl st in the top of that chain and bind off, or if you want to go around again, chain 2 and repeat around. Let me know if that isn't clear, I'll work on a demonstration over the weekend if possible.
