That was incredible. it must have been amazing to have been involved in cinema back then; no rules, no conventions, no cliches just one huge experiment, it's no wonder that the director was able to draw performances like that out of his actors.

Excellent movie. But one would think and hope that whoever selects the library music tracks for these YT editions of silent films would at least be courteous enough to watch the movie closely and make sure that the soundtrack at least matches the tone and pace of each scene, even it's not perfectly synchronized from one moment to the next.

A MASTERPIECE !!!! 45 years ago my father took to the movies to watch this masterpiece and I was so scared that I told him to get me out of the theater ( I was only 8 yo) today I watched and all those reminicensce make me warmed, remember my father and all those days.
