Hi.

Can I play GTA IV on my laptop with at least 25 fps??

AMD 2.1 GHz Dual Core P320

4GB DDR3 RAM

ATI Radeon HD 5145, but 512mb, not 1GB.

I can play a lot of games, such as COD MW3, AvP and Crysis. Do you think I would be able to play tihs game?? Thanks!!!!

512 or 1024 doesnt matter for 5145 as it is not gaming card.

The problem can be your CPU and in GTA 4 you neeed good cpu.

AMD dual core is much worse than i3 so i dont guarantee you 25 fps on average.

Can be some drops...

Update with patch number 5 and check my channel for gta 4 commandline optimization video and you can be on horse.

im confused.... gta iv in LOW graphics runs really bad...BTBC 2, CODMW 2 nba 2k11,SBK 2011,ASSASINS CREED2 runs very good in high settings and is a 5145..

Yout 5145 has 512 MB dedicated Video RAM. This can be a little problem, but if other games work for you well, then sth is wrong with your GTA 4 settings. Update game to patch 1.0.0.5. Use ''commandline trick'' (you can find it on my chanel).

Don't expect miracle because GTA 4 is a bad and unoptimized port from stupid consoles...

I have 5th patch and i use commandline trick. I have a video with this trick - search for it on my channel (GTA 4 commandline trick)

I have a i5 430M, ati 5145 1G i GTA IV is fucking laggy. Even at the lowest config and resolution. I think this ASUS line of laptops totally suck. Even the fucking keyboard sucks, starting up goes slow, a continous over heating and sudden shutdowns happen on this type of laptop.

Just dont buy it. Its not worth the money.

Yes, there are 512MB and 1024MB Video-ram units. Performance should be equal in low resolutions but as you play in Full HD the 1GB version has better performance.

But overall it should be the same in perofrmance

Buyin a laptop with i3 @ 2.4ghz wih 4gb ddr3 ram 500gb HD @ 7500rpm it comes with a shit graphics card- Intel HD is there anyway i can install a better one if so which do u preffer?

Unless the laptop has onboard graphics, there is no reason why the card can't be changed.

You cant get better performance than that. >YOu have good performance to play but try installing patch number 5 and use that commandline trick you can get here on youtube or google it.

thats amazing i have myself a G72GX with core 2 p8700 and gtx 260m.. i have to have it at medium to play and all apps turned off in background and it plays pretty decent, also have to use a laptop cooler or the GPU downclocks after a few.. this is amazing for a 5145... low end notebook GPU.. do u have any advice on how to get it to play good on my G72GX?

i already done some performance tests,to check how good my laptop works,i was suprised,since my notebook was able to run the crysis and dirt 2 demo on medium settingswith 1280×720 resolution

I dont own this laptop anymore. Bought it for cousin and tested it so i know how good it is in games. I am sure it can handle F1 2010 in 720p res and settings low-medium dx9 of course. Try for yourself and post video on here or let me upload it if you wanna, because i vcant find any f1 2010 game running on this card :D so you would be first!
