I"ve been in Second Life since 2009 and I have to disagree. What's going on there is amazing. I'm a RL artist in SL and there are incredibly talented people logging in and creating every day. MissCedarbridge, you may be a little jaded and in a rut. You might try adventuring more. New people every day...bring new ideas and creatIvity!

It's hard for me to watch the old videos of Second Life. It has gotten better!

@MissCedarbridge1 I’ve been on SL since 2007...it has gone downhill...the avatars are much better, the clothes and hair are a lot better, but the overall experience is not anywhere near as good as it was. If you’re new-ish to SL, you’ve missed out on the glory days.

Is not a game, but it can contain games. It's more like a 3D enviroment where you can simply socialize with people from around the globe, but also you can develop objects and software directly into the platform, in fact, almost everything you see in SL is created by their own users. That is the greatness of sl and that's also the performance is not that good as a normal game where almost every component is pre-defined.

I heard of this in a magazine, but the magazine was an article about something I also heard on the news, that this game is fun and your able to create yourself in a new way, but they're also a lot of strange people and it is easy for them to find out your information. Apparently its quite bad for online bullying too. But the game sounds okay. Hope you can get vampires on it

...im on the teen grid...which sucks...because now we dont have live help...and if you need help with something, the lindens dont pop up on the serach....the teen grid is fun, but it sucks at times. because everyone on there is so immature, and there are hardly anyshops, so we all look like idiots....ive been on the main grid befor though, its really fun...theres way more to do, and you buy like anything on the main grid....the teen grid sucks in comparison to the main grid...

You don't need to pay to build, explore and have fun in SL. I make money in game and I have a free account, you can rent space and sell your creations, don't let a tight budget put you off of living your second life :P

That's not really true. I have a free account and I make money in game. You can rent spaces to sell your creations and build at sandboxes, so don't be put off of trying SL if your on a tight budget :)
