Hey, I love your landscape vids! Beautiful surroundings! When you record though, get a mic and cover it with a foam cover so that the wind isn't so intrusive. Thanks James!
Yep, all the time Ready and waiting for when the war with Russia comes, lol. On the day I filmed this vid, a plane flew directly above our heads, we were so close we could almost touch it. Then later on, when we were up the hill, it was so weird looking down and seeing the planes fly below us.
I tried getting some photos of the planes (2 tornados and a hercules all flying together) and they was right in front of me about 10 metres away, i felt them go them go by so it must of been close. I also had a walk right the round loch skeen. Great video
I love they Grey Mare's Tail, the loch at the top is beautiful. It's a bit of a tough climb to begin with but more steady when you get higher. I live a couple of miles from it and have walked it 3 times. I love seeing the mountain goats!
i oknow u guys will find this really boring butttttt u see on the related videos if u go on the ali g in wales video the first person you interview is my uncle it should say karl davies well yeah that my uncle just thought that youd like to know lol
Was at Skeen just yesterday, the Goats were still in much the same spot, that rock in the loch is used by the Gulls as a nest, but usually the Gulls are disturbed by people getting too close. Did you see the tent? its been there since last July!
I have a video clip of a thunder storm and you can see the lightening strike the loch, when I get time I will put it on here
Wow that all sounds amazing! I've never seen gulls at the loch before...3 times I've been to the loch and I've seen no trace of them. I didn't see the tent this time...but I remember seeing it late last year!
I look forward to seeing your vid, let me know when its up if you can! :)
Hey. This video is perfect. I was just in Scotland this past week and I went hiking up the Grey Mare's Tail. And funny enough you made a video of it, and it was to my favorite snow patrol song! haha did you happen to see the two peregrine falcons flying around there?
Wow! I live about 10 minutes away from it by car.
And indeed I did! I knew the peregrine falcons lived there and I saw one of them zooming about everywhere, in the sky, down past the hill next to the waterfall, everything! My family was very impressed.
Last year I took the lower left route...and there we saw a falcon in its nest.
Yeah...it was amazing. There was a big rock in the lake which we could reach by jumping across some smaller rocks, me and my brother lay down on it and drank beer, hehe.
Before I seen it I knew it had to be Scottish, Makes me proud to be Scottish! Hope you enjoyed your stay!! Alba du Grath

Nice show! I would guess that the jets and planes were doing NATO training. A pain yes but we need them. Great show.

It sure way "flipping" beautiful lol
Although a lot of the areas around it are quite bland, just bare hills and sheep.
Jamandell 4 years ago
That may be true...however we don't have anything like that near us.

And yeah...I realised it also said "These pics and vids were taken on 6 April 2007"...wrong!
They were taken on April 5th...I screwed up again, lol

Thanks. And yeah it's one of my fave songs, by Snow Patrol. I left the wind noises in though to give a feeling to the viewer of actually being there

It was good...it only lasted a brief moment, but impatient me responded to quickly. The ending got better for sound ^_^
