  • James Dean Bradfield is so underrated.

  • i was at this gig.

  • i was at this gig.

  • Know Your Enemy is their "Sandinista". At least a third of the songs should not have appeared on that album. On the other hand there are songs like "Ocean Spray" and "Convalesant" that are great.

  • agree i think it a fantastic album from starty to finish

  • Ill never understand why Know Your Enemy has been so slammed... its one of their bests imo... ill be honest it was never in my eyes their very best but it never deserved as much bad critism

  • Everything is open to subjective criticism. I really like it for the first half then it completely self destructs into some seriously sub standard tunes. Miss Europa Disco Dancer? Single lowest point in their career.

Then allot of core fans slagged of Lifeblood big time and I really dig that album. Horese for courses.

Send Away The Tigers though. Best thing they've done sine THB. I actually prefer it to Everything Must Go.

  • Thanks for saying that. I love that album too - it totally rocks and has none of that sugar sound to it that so many of their recent albums have had. True, Europe Disco Dancer and Let Robeson Sing aren't my favourites. But the rest of the album is great. The Holy Bible, Know Your Enemy and the newest one are the greatest albums they've made - in my opinion.

  • I firmly believe JDB's the strongest guitar playing frontman in rock today.

  • Definetly, Matt Bellamy ain't shit on him. At least Ol' Bradders doesn't need shitloads of effects to sound good. Just a bit of distortion and we're set!

  • He's the Jimmy p[age of his generation.

  • lyrically this song is pretty damn heavy, if you dont get it ya never will.

  • That's really patronising. Let's just say it's no Archives of Pain.

  • lol although i love the manics (and i love this song) i agree with everything you just wrote.....

  • Fuckin fantastic tune!! Rock N roll!! Its played at a super fast tempo in this vid though. The live in Cuba version kicks ass! I've done an acoutic version too... check it out!

  • Love this song and it's rock & roll sound! And indeed, a great song to play live

  • tru dat

  • This is a great song! Surely The Love Of Richard Nixon is much worse!

  • Have to disagree - this is a great track live!

  • @adz1962 This is a great track full stop!

  • @transewookie

    yeah yeah

  • @adz1962 I agree. They should really bring this back.

  • Huh?! This was by far my favourite song on Know Your Enemy. Ok, lyrically it's not anything remarkable but jeez, it doesn't half rock yer knickers off!

  • you cunt this song is a wicked tune!!!

  • @InescapableRattrap nah, it's the best KYE single

  • @InescapableRattrap 5 words - the love of richard nixon

  • @InescapableRattrap no way!!

  • @InescapableRattrap i disagree, this is one of their best singles, and always one of the highlights of their gigs (besides YOU LOVE US, of course).
