here in USA most people stated to prefer lexus over merc or BMW because its cheaper and quality build. Power and specs can be very important to perfectionists. Those numbers are wash when you drive on road and streets. What important though is how comfortable and effortless they go.

Not only is the Lexus far superior in comfort, luxury and technology but it's also faster, more efficient and quieter then the Audi.. Let's face it the Germans got nothing on the Japanese
Official tests show that the Audi is faster...you don't know who is driving in this vehicles and how, under what conditions...the camera man puts another 200 pounds (more or less) to the Audi and the beginning of the race was pretty tight, so that could make a difference...plus, the Lexus does not get any faster than that, on the other hand you can take the S8 if you want more speed...all in all, Lexus is not a bad deal because it's cheaper but in absolute terms German cars are unsurpassed!

The 750i is still too low to compete against these two, BMW needs a 760i to compete (only available in a few countries) but we are talking about much bigger engines and that's the proof of how superior is LEXUS (smaller engines, better performance). Official tests show that the Audi is faster...you don't know who is driving in this vehicles and how, under what conditions...the camera man puts another 200 pounds (more or less) to the Audi and the beginning of the race was pretty tight, so that could make a difference...plus, the Lexus does not get any faster than that, on the other hand you can take the S8 if you want more speed...all in all, Lexus is not a bad deal because it's cheaper but in absolute terms German cars are unsurpassed!

The 750i is still too low to compete against these two, BMW needs a 760i to compete (only available in a few countries) but we are talking about much bigger engines and that's the proof of how superior is LEXUS (smaller engines, better performance). Anyway, all of them are nice, I hope to see the new LS soon, it will be amazing.

@alexlugovoy Well, I compare engines because I like to buy a reliable car and sorry but before buying a Hyundai, I would buy a second hand LADA (are you Russian? Those cars are ROCKS). They have not potential, sorry. LEXUS was created in 1989 to be the best from SCRATCH not step by step and, in fact, every single Lexus from the first LS400 is simple the best in its class and not just engines but also quality and reliability. PLUS: hyundai is corrupt, unlike Toyota.

@Demetrios74 yeah, in those magazines they only compare the low price cars. japanese cars made for drift , US cars r only about hp, EU cars r somewhere between i guess. so ofcourse in drag race jp cars suppose to lose but at the corner all US and EU car driver can see is smoke. anyway, diff story with the luxury cars, no 1 want to drift with ur fam behind the seat ^_^.
