you should establish females in the first crop, trash the males and continue cloning from the original mother plant and its future female crop which well allow newer crops to produce more potent THC glands for the ultra BUZ

you should chop the top about 10-12 day before bloom and if you have about 10 branches you will get 7-8 big buds about the same size make sure you pruned it often like 3-4 days so the lower branches can get light so it can reach up to the top ones

make sure you cut it as close to the top as possible when it's ready to bloom the 2 top branches will be 1- 13/4 "

don't keep more than 10-12 branches i keep 18-20 at one time and it was way too much (no good)

Its Nodes and never cut your plant when in the bloom cycle unless you want to wait longer to harvest a smaller crop. Thinning and shaping should be done in the Green or Vegitaion cycle only.

dont limit your plant by removing all the branches. 20 buds are better than 7 or 8.

i make mine for production not for my self to smoke so i make it so the most come out or the largest yield possible. my goal if to to get more than 2 lbs per Kw (this is from a M39 strain 5 1/2 weeks ) if you get the same with a 10-12 week strain it better be more than twice as much when you sell it

i have reach 2 lbs/kw but i have heard of people that get 3 lbs/kw i think it's possible if the environment is right and you have new lights and digital ballast and

I run 4 branches. 2.5 weeks veg. squeez 12 in a 4x4 space. average 1.5 oz per plant. I do not like bottom bud so i dont grow it.

If trimming your plants is setting you back any more than 2 days your doing it wrong. We have new growth the next day. Take a look at the entire grow class to see what your missing.

you dont have to sex clones, they have the same genetics as the mother. You need to veg the clones for a while to establish roots, and get a tad bigger before flower.

My plants r starting to bud nice but like the leaves r all falling off from the top and burning up anmd becoming crispy. Im realllll comfused. I thought the plant wuz doing great until this happen.

Have you added any ferts? Treated with bug bombs? Is the light too close to the plant? Do you water too much? Is it very hot in the upper part of your room? These are possible problems.

But remember that when the plant goes into bloom it is like Fall. The leaves turn yellow and die. This is normal.

If your tops are burning then ask yourself the questions above.

When you top of the plants wouldn't be a good idea to try and clone the topping. I hate seeing any part of a plant wasted it can be used. I'm actually cloning the tops of two of my plants.They have roots and are being placed outside to get a good jump start.I have a really good question.If someone has been doing this for a long time,can they just look at a plant and tell if it is a male ? I have 13 plants and I have picked out the ones I suspect are males by the way they are growing. Help !

Sorry,just asked you a question before watching the rest of your video. If I waited,the answer was there in your video.Following up on the other question about picking out a 3' male plant without sexing it.The plants I suspect are male in my grow room are very healthy,but the suckers are growing differantly,and each node is stretched out more than the others(Less dense) I will admit I started these plants from 3 differant seed sources.Skunk,Orange Kush,and a unknown strain.Any suggestions ?

Yes. I let the plant get at least 8 branches before topping. I cut down from the top 4 branches and use this as a start for the next planting. The original plant should have at least 4 very healthy branches left on it.

If you have not begun to bloom, go ahead and top the plant. Otherwise if in bloom leave it to finish. You can still take a cutting for the next time.
