Well the tempo in the song in this part is perfect for that. And Richard usually encourage the audience to do it at that part. At least he did before, don't know if he does it anymore.

Melodic Death Metal they dont scream, but do harsh vocal. And yes, in this genre(specific songs) they do that, but theres a genre called screamo, where they scream.
