There's nothing wrong with a bad getting attention because it was on a game. Good bands like these need as much exposure as they can get. It doesn't matter how you discover a band, as long as you truly appreciate the music.

Besides, Brutal Legend had a great soundtrack.

Brutal Legend had me discover Cradle of Filth, and they are now one of my favorite bands, and I highly doubt I would've discovered them otherwise.
