You must do a little more research.. Harold Lloyd was in fact at one time MORE popular than Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton. For a span of about four years or even more. Ther are books written about him even expressing this fact. From about 1918 until 1923 or 1924 more people enjoyed his films and he was #1 in the popularity poles.

@chickglenn07 Right on! He was number one - revisionist versions of history has buried that fact - thank you for setting the record straight. His films made more money in the 1920s than either Chaplin's or Keaton's too.

This is GREAT and fun to watch! I think Harold Lloyd was a living, fearless, cartoon! He must have been made of rubber! I don't think any star today would even attempt to do the stunts that he did!
