  • Seven years is just corrupt, infact this world is corrupt. This guy only gets 7 years for killing 2 people, ruining several families, ruining Jacqueline's life, etc. Meanwhile, the guy who created MegaUpload gets 50 years?!?! Could somebody please explain this to me?

My condolences go out to Jacqueline, her family, and her friends families.

  • That asshole got a punishment he deserves... A life with guilt... Had he died, he would have not received that bad of a punishment, not at all..

  • @hikaruultma I take that back... I thought he got a life sentence... He should be jailed for the rest of his life. What the fuck. That was total murder.

  • she's beautiful period.

  • @nau10nay1 do you go to D.A.R.E because I'm in 5th grade and I do dare and they talk about alcohol tobacco and smoking

  • :( that made me cry

  • She was just so beautiful before and now shes fucked! Poor girl i would not be able to show my face if it was me, she is stronger than me, cause i would always were the burn victims mask bandage and a hat. I threw my life away over a broken heart and my problems pale in comparason to hers.

  • For anyone who's wondering the names of the songs like @nicolas6722, the songs are all by Kevin MacLeod from Incompetech. The names are Deliberate Thought, Numinous Shine, and Eternal Hope.

  • ok, ok just focus on the real problem...the problem is not if 7 years are enough or not! the problem is why the fuck people drink like fucking sponges and then jump in their fucking cars??when do you understand that is so damn dangerous? maybe when someone cut off their fucking hands and their fucking feet?? ok so just do it...!

  • yeah, i think 7 years is enough...He definitely learned his lesson.

  • Damn........:/

  • my buddy got 4 years for selling some drugs! Boy does our country got problems with priorities...

  • she was soo beautiful

bud yall gotta undastand accidents do happin god bless her nd dee fam dat gotta be hard bt put yallselfz in his shoes im sure ud want ta be out of jail

  • I hate the fact tht she didnt deserve this,i hope it happens to no one,my self, or even the jailed man b/c accidents happen and i know he feels bad, hopefully jackie in the future when technology and bio meet at a high peak you will have your body back

  • Seven years is not enough it should at least be 10-13 years he killed other people daughter, friends and seven years really he deserves more that that

  • @Kurai215 i think it should be life in prison

  • @Kurai215 he dosnt need to suffer more.. its not gonna help anyone. living with the guilt of what he done is probably the biggest thing that striked him. and if there is a Heaven what are the chances he would go there? Not only that but look at all the people that hate him for his bad decision. I feel sorry for him and i feel sorry for her. how many people die because of drunk drivers? A lot every year. But because she lived and showed the world how she looked it can be even more dramatic.

  • *im*

  • The guy killed two people n this girls life is ruined and he only got 7 years??

  • 1:20 to skip the shit and get to the actual video.

  • Today at my school we talked about smoking and that kind of stuff well only me and other 5th graders when upstairs with another teacher and we meet with a police officer and he talks to us about this kind of stuff and he told us about "Jacqueline Saburido" and then the story was done he told us "if we wanted to know more about her well search her up" and guess what? I did I only did this beacause I care about people when they get hurted by someone else by something stupied but they just do wrong

  • imagne what she looked like when they saved her out of the car.....

  • in 10:30 how is is that her hands are liek fucked up and her arms arrent

  • who can dislike such a touching story?

  • This is why I prefer to live in a big city where not a lot of people have to drive. Shit scares me to death.

  • asshole drunk drivers!

  • now this is proof god is a stupid mother fucker so thats why i stay atheist

  • @PhreshBboy we are Gods creation...he let us live here and make choices..thats why its s free world..but what u get up to in ure life is up to u...especially if u are not with him...cant be sure u are safe at all...thats also why we gota make sure the afterlife is better cause this place is a shithole an no one is safe....wonder whhy the natural disasters are increasing as well?

  • @DjLatelle if hes real, why didnt he prevent jac's accident? and god didnt create us, no one knows who did

  • @PhreshBboy because not everyone is with god for him to look after you. He is the all knowing the allwise he knows everything thats going on. He will judge the person who did it at the end. Im going by the books..cause there's not many we have been provided with that says who...but as far as i know not many say aliens have as some ppl believe

  • @PhreshBboy well in an accident like that YOUR NOT SUPPOSE TO SURVIVE SHE'S LUCKY TO BE ALIVE

  • @Glitterypurplesea Not an accident. u know that this so called GOD couldve made jacky spill coffee on her pants and be 10 minutes late and then she wouldnt have to have been in that car accident

  • @PhreshBboy he could of made it so your mom had a miscarriage with you but he didnt what your talking about is a miracle but miracles dont always happen

  • @Glitterypurplesea LOL come up with ur own shit, ive heard of that hella times HAHAHA

  • @PhreshBboy uhhh i sayin what i know i dont need to say what other people say

  • just one question... What are waiting? WHEN GONNA MAKE A FACE TRANSPLANT TO THAT GIRL?

  • No.It's not enough;this carnage on the road never ends. This country WON'T take drunk driving seriously. If you kill someone drunk driving-it should be murder--period--fuck "Intent"---- 'drunk driving conviction--lose your license for life-THEN you'll see some behavioral change among people..

  • @mrbriscoe2001 agreed, honestly i hate alcohol with the way the world is going people can't handle the responsibility of watching what they drink.. im sure that if weed was made legal and alcohol was back to being bootlegged a huge impact would be felt.. people who get wasted and drive deserve no license for life - no chances of getting it back

  • God bless you... Feel sad for her :'( shes so strong :') gotta count our blessings!

  • The guy is just as bad as the millions of people who drink and drive.

  • God Bless you sweet heart...youve over come so much...hugs...i wish i could hug you

  • they fine that guy 20k, where does that money goes? To the girl?

  • Alcohol Was Involved In 24% Of Fatal Crashes...

That means 76% where sober, I'm not going to take any chances, have a beer before you drive!

  • Fuck, why are people so stupid? Why drink and drive? Fucking retards.

  • She looks like an alien. Hah. xD

But, things happen. Sure, hindsight is 20/20, but you couldn't have known that would happen. It could not have been avoided.

  • @TheVKfan1 Your fucking sick, making fun of her and then you say stupid shit? She burned most of her face you stupid fuck. I hope you get run over you ignorant fucker.

  • @Aldana9009 Come back when you can form a coherent sentence. All I understood was "fuck" and "fucker".

  • @TheVKfan1 you sick bastard for making fun of Jacqueline Saburido cuz she's diffrent then us!

  • @amy2567 I was stating an opinion. Can't I do that on the internet?

  • @amy2567 she's exactly the same as us.

  • @TheVKfan1 I hope you die you heartless, ignorant, asshole.

  • @JamieTheBlondeChick Honestly, I hope we all die. So I agree with you there. I'm not heartless, I'm just cynical.

  • why cant the surgeons put a nose on her? if they can do it for idiot celebrities surely they can do it for her?

  • @thermaldog You still need available skin to be able to put a nose onto a person. She has no raw flesh material to work with, and medical support is expensive as hell.

  • Jacqueline... you probably will never see this, but i wanted to say you were, and still are beautiful. You are a strong independent loving woman. Keep Going beacause you are amazing.

  • The point of this video is to show people what can happen when they drink or drive. The girl who survived is going to be permantly scarred because of someone's decision to drink and drive. The guy that caused the accident is clearly remorseful and is going to suffer from this for the rest of his life. Ti me that is a sentence because the guy will have nightmares for the rest of his life.

  • And I toought my day was bad.

  • It's terrible what happened to her, and for sure that guy need to be punished. But don't scream for life sentence or capital punishment. How many of the people who say so have already driven under the influences themself or just reckless? You were just happy you did not hurt anybody else or yourself. I did some shit with the car when I was a teen. Today I thank God everyday that nothing ever happened.

  • This is why Islam bans public toxications n fornication. Only ppl that wont like Sharia Law are mainly corrupt gov't painting false pictures, gansters, homosexuals, fornicators n adulter, criminals. For an average being Sharia is what we need. Seek more knowledge from proper sources.

  • Fuck that! He should of gotten a life sentence.... She has one & 2 others are dead. Drunk driving is equal to premeditated murder. You choose to drink & drive, period. You kill or maim someone you deserve life in prison, NO exceptions. It's no different than planning to kill someone...you just may not know that "someone" personally.

  • @gnosstic He was drunk, not high.

  • @TacoBoy210 So? Does it make any difference? An acquaintance of mine died while driving high, and killed 4 people.

  • And the war and drugs goes on...This proves that drugs should be legallized. Why? Because lots of people dies anyway and this should be addressed as a social not criminal issue. Alcohol causes infinite tragedies yet it's a legal drug: The same happened in the 20's: Lot's of crime, the Al Capone's, equivalent to the drug lords of today yet people will buy and consume drugs regardless of prohibitions...Poor girl, yet she is a brave woman!

  • @gnossticc alchohol is already legal nobody ever dies from stoned driving i actually am alot more careful when driving high

  • @TheSquirrel8485 Nobody? That is a gross generalisation my friend. An acquaintance of mine did die while driving stoned.

  • @gnossticc lol maybe ur friends just stupid then

  • @TheSquirrel8485 You make my point, duh! You are dumb.

  • @gnossticc who is this aquaintances name? wouldn't that shit be on the news? my friends and i drive around and smoke. maybe ur acquaintance just cant handle his shit those people shouldn't smoke weed then if hes even real but it seems like ur just making up stuff to try to act smart.

  • @TheSquirrel8485 Ohh geez, you are indeed dumb! This happened many, many years ago and in a foregin country! Geez!

  • Dude should have gotten 6 months tops and his driving privileges permanently revoked. That's it. 7 years is ridiculous.

  • This girl is incredibly courageous and beautiful. As a society, we have a false sense of what people should be like .....beautiful....we are bombarded with it, airbrushed, perfect faces....when what really counts is what is in one`s soul. True beauty comes from the soul.

  • Ofcourse... they just couldnt resist asking for money.

    only in america folks

  • Is 7 years enough? How about the fact that the man has to live the rest of his life which to me is longer than 7 years knowing he brutally deformed one person and killed two others? That sentence is more than 7 years. It's just like he said. He has to live with that.

  • @ryodeath - Jacqueline, her 2 killed friends, and and her father must serve a much longer and harsher sentence than Reggie's 7 years.

  • @lacedemonians I totally understand why anyone would want him punished harshly for this. But you miss the point I am trying to make that he is enduring a far worse punishment by his conscience than our Justice System ever could inflict upon him...so really, what would him serving a 70 year sentence do to make a difference? I really don't think he's going to risk making the same mistake again...if he were to ever get a license again.

  • @ryodeath - I do NOT believe that he should be serving a 70-year sentence. He should dedicate his life towards helping his surviving victim in any way that he can that does not intrude into her life.

  • @lacedemonians I look at his face in the interviews and I believe that is what he would do. If you want to see something more touching, there was an Oprah story about a woman not only forgiving a lady who was driving drunk and killed her husband and child, but became friends with her to show that God's Forgiveness worked it's way through her. It was the most glorious thing anyone could do for another human being that had inadvertently wronged them

  • @ryodeath

but u cant be sure he cares.. some people r just selfish

  • @ryodeath How about having to live with a sentence of brutal deformity for life? That's more than 7 years, you know? Your normal life taken away from you forever. Jacqui has to live with that. It's some consolation for him thinking that he has to live with the consequences of the choices he made, but the truth of the matter is that Jacqui got the worse part, not him. He can go out and get married and have a family, she can't.

  • Poems are the friends we make them, expressing in words a thought, of happiness, sadness, caring, experience dearly bought.

"Dear Mrs. Jacqueline, this is for you,

I HOPE in your life that you'll have the "eww's",

And change up their face so that it turns bright blue,

'Cause You've inspired me and i won't forget you."

  • @tessamera Shut up kid. How old are you 12? Or just very unintelligent? It can and has happened to anyone. I killed someone while driving UNDER the speed limit, perfectly sober, getting off work.

  • @Javis586 Ha

  • I think she's still beautiful. Even though she was left disfigured, and lost two friends, she is a beautiful person for forgiving the man who took it all away from her.

Such a painful tragedy. God bless her. I wonder how she views life now....

  • The amazing thing was she was on oprah and talked to the kids mom and she told her it's ok it's ok she is a amazing person for being able to say it's ok just live your life god bless you and you changed millions of people and i never gonna drink because of things that can happen any minute..speaking from a kid who's only 14

  • Last week, a drunk driver slammed into a parked car at the top of my street. Somehow, despite all logic, while his car was a wreck, both he, and his two friends riding in the tray of the utility, all walked away after an 90km/h collision with a one-tonne vehicle.

The other car however, was decimated, and had anybody been inside it, they would have perished without question.

The dumb choices people make. =\

  • Today in school all the seniors watched a documentary over this story. And honestly we were all teared up. This has opened my eyes to realize that anything can happen at any moment. As an 18 year old I realize that many of us young folks make stupid choices without even thinking the the people we might affect...

  • to everyone that drive drunk, FUCK U... just FUCK U

  • I feel sorry for her and her family. But spam-boting people on youtube isnt the way to get the people you want to watch this, to watch it. And religion has nothing to do with drunk driving. Just saying.

  • -so sorry for her and it takes allot to forgive someone who has done something like that to her, but it has also made her so insparational to many since that tragic night May god bless her -3 Poor girl

  • GOD BLESS HER -3 she is so beautiful and hope she dosent feel like her life is ruined. This is an inspiration -3 she is so brave to keep moving on and carrying her life on normally she is so beautiful -3 I feel

  • Shes so strong and beauitful, so sad this had to happen...

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

  • my mom looked back at her and sai, im thankful i lived and thankful for my family and thankful for my life with broken bones and broken hearts and all. so no, i'd rather be alive. she requested never to have her as a nurse anymore. i hate that woman and i don't even know her. don't even say you'd rather be dead because she lived and im sure she's thankful everyday no matter her scars or what she looks like. i know my mom is.

  • @abbigailangel442 im proud of you and ur mom. God bless u and u will also be in my prayers

  • excuse me? rather be dead? my mom got in a car accident june 2nd 2010. it changed our lives. she broke both her legs and her right arm. ribs. collapsed a lung. she is still on oxygen a year later. she was confined to a wheelchair for 10 months and barely walks now with operations still needed on her shattered knee. when she was in intensive care just days after the accident, a nurse spoke to her and said, how can you want to live like that. if it was me, i'd rather be dead.

  • i feel so srry 4 her. how old is she?????

  • POOR GIRL

  • You are an ANGEL sweetie. May you receive all my LOVE, big hugs and affection to you and your loved ones!XXX

  • I watched this at school

  • Nono cio paura

  • you have an awesome soul! i love you!

  • Damn that really sucks.

It takes a lot of compassion for her to forgive someone who ruined her life like this. I admire her strength.

  • @wallsofink What? Do you really believe she forgave him? I doubt it, not for real...

  • @Empyriummann She did, I saw a video with her "forgiving" him. And she said she felt sorry for him being involved in this incident. She said that he ruined her life, but she forgives him. And the man (Reggie) said he was touched at how compassionate she could be, even after all the damage he did to her life.

  • To getittherereloaded: they know his name because it happened years ago. This video is not fake.

  • great...now I'm in the emotional side of youtube

  • That is not harsh because he chose to drink and drive.......and ended up killing 2 people and ruining her life....

  • As sad as this is, it was an accident. 7 years seems harsh when you think that if the cars hit at a different angle, or one car was going slightly slower or any number of small details were different, no one could have died. Althought those two poor people lost their lives, him driving dunk is the same as someone else driving drunk and not even having an accident

  • THIS VIDEO IS A FAKE...HOW DID THE OPERATOR KNOW THAT HIS NAME WAS REGGIE??

  • @getitherereloaded My thoughts too,

  • I got a DWI not too long ago. I was actually a much more dangerous and worse driver sober than I was the night I was drunk. After being sanctioned heavily by the criminal justice system Ive realized I was clearly in the wrong. I still have a problem with alcohol and sometimes I get drunk to the point that I am no where near as sharp as I should be. I watch videos like this one to keep me from getting behind the wheel in an impaired state ever again.

  • <l3 sad.

  • oh god. this is making me cry. i cant watch this no more

  • FATALITY

  • GOD BLESS YOU jacqueline saburido

  • Whn she lowered the picture I swear I could feel a tear fall down my face...

  • Reginald should be set on fire and see how he likes it

  • She is such a beautiful person and I hope she finds the strength she needs everyday.

  • Jaqui you are amazing to live through all of that you inspire me and make me cry I'm so sorry about what happened to you my heart goes out to you Jaqui stay beautiful and Reggie you have it hard too but people aren't we all human? Don't we all do stupid shit? I'm not saying that what Reggie did was right by any means but it WAS an accident AND he thoroughly regrets it and will the rest of his life so stop with the mean comments about Reggie at least Jaqui's alive at least she gets to go home to

  • this story is very sad and feel so terrible and its amazing she is still here today.

honestly i know reggie is the one to blame but i a way this has scarred him for life, how would you be able to move on knowing you did all that? and get 7 years in prison, he will also never get his life back and everyone hates him now cuz he was a drunk driver, in a way i feel bad for everyone but Reggie gets it the worst

  • Comment removed

  • @94saq94 to be fair, they have nothing to complain about even if they never do see this.

  • @RedHotLN2 well that's true, nobody has a true reason to complain about ANYTHING, life is about going and looking forward as Jackeline did.

  • @94saq94 Really? What in the fuck are you talking about? Are you referring to ungrateful people or just sorry assholes such as yourself. It was terrible what happened and I feel sorry for all parties involved but please spare everyone the sophomoric tirade. What a JackASS!!!!

  • @bennyworldwide The "sorry assholes" are intolerant and irrespectful people like you. It was a comment, not a bomb. CALM DOWN. Is not just "feeling sorry" like you, is about taking concience. Think about it and reply like a CIVILIZED HUMAN BEING ¿would you?

  • I am 14 years old, I have never driven a vehicle and when here and see stuff like this.. It makes me scared, that this can not only happen to happen to her, but to me and everyone else. Now if I was in her place, I would wuss out and be miserable and hateful to this guy for the rest of my life. She has the determination, courage, love and support from her family, and strength to look at an old picture of herself, and look in the mirror and not be hateful. Why? Because she doesn't wish this upon

  • Awh. I can't believe this, it's so awful. :c

People like Jacqueline are absolutely amazing for carrying on living and being happy, even in a state like this. She's such an inspiration to other people and she gets all my respect and hope. <3

Reggie, what you did was disgustingly horrible, and I hope you realize you're a dick, and that this is probably gonna haunt you forever.

  • i had a crime-day at school today, and we had fire crimes for the last session. this was the last video we watched, and i was crying my eyes out. watching it now, im still crying. this is the most amazing thing, how a car crash can ruin someones whole life. im only 13, and seeing this will probably change my life forever. i love you jacqi, you have inspired me in so many ways <3

  • 9-19-1999, weird.

  • My heart goes up to you.

  • This is sooooo horrible. I HATE WHAT HAPPENED TO HER. if this was me, i'd rather be dead.

  • unless he is realising what he has actually done and whats gonna haunt him for the rest of his life.

  • How can some people dislike this? you guys have no hearts.

  • @MelisaMarieTV maybe they're disliking it because they dont like the whole fact this is happening? or maybe they are fucking retarded

  • @ICbaToChooseOneTbh yeah, your right. (:

  • 47 people doesnt like this? --' you dont have sensibity :(

  • Wow this is so sad :( Remember one step you take can change your life forever.

  • @Brentsey you look like shit. do you really think she asked for this to happen to her? grow the fuck up!! Jacqueline..keep hangin in strong girl!!(:

  • LOl at the guy in jail

  • they could help her. put a strap with finger that goes from her elboe. give her rubber fingers and whenever she bends her arms the fingers will close. there now she can pic stuff up easily

  • these kinds of things could be avoided if people would for once in their life stop acting selfish and realize that every action they make has a consequence and not every consequence will be suffered by the person committing the action but instead innocent bystanders.

  • what a selfish prick! i hope he knows what drinking has done to him and Jacqueline. God Bless You Girl <3

  • God bless Reginald Stephey! Oooh i forget, Reginald Stephey is GOD!

  • This makes me just want to cry. She was so beautiful before. So beautiful.

And then pictures where her dad is holding her.

Sometimes we forget how blessed we are. All Jacqui wants is to be normal again. She's probably more thankful then the rest of us, she's probably appreciating life itself and her family. And all of us complain on a daily basis.

    Thanks for the inspiration Jacqi.

  • Honestly? Everyone on here is talking about what a horrible person Reginald Stephey was. And really, I don't think he is. Yeah, he made a horrible, horrible mistake, and people who didn't deserve to suffer ended up suffering. But the guilt of killing a person is so much worse than anything you could imagine. Jacqueline isn't the only one who has something awful she'll live with for the rest of her life. Reggie was young and stupid. But maybe now he's a better person because of this.

  • omg thats terrible he should have got life ..she is an inspiration fair play 2 her

  • Anyone else love her accent?..…

  • This brought me to tears. This video really makes you appreciate your life and that you could have so much worse like this poor girl. Everyone just appreciate what you have now for you may not have it tomorrow.

  • Its a double story guys i watched the whole video and read over most of the comments and i dont agree with what reggie did and i feel terrible for her but we are all humans no matter what we do we all make mistakes some of our mistakes have higher risks and fatal outcomes but atleast reggie is honest about it he has to live with knowing what he did for the rest of his life to be honest i think that is the worst possible punishment, and yes all of this could have been avoided by not drinking

  • @ariadnilooks is saying right ...............how would he be living now.....?and how would she too

  • god of all drunk drivers Reginald Stephey

  • why did you swerve reggie, why did you swerve?

  • i love u jacqui . keep being strong! ur afighter n a survivor n im so proud of u! u will always be a beautiful person! <3

  • how old is Reggie in this video? he looks so old, he must have gotten totally worn out by all this. this story never gets old.. i'm watching this again after a couple years :(

  • @xOxPaRiS2xOx I know, it said he was 18-years-old at the accident, but he looks like, 35 now!

  • look at it this way. she lived she can be thankful for that not everyone makes it, regie has to live with what he did for the rest of his life as well as Jacqueline either way they both are going to live with that nightmare. its called learning from your mistakes and learning to forgive people no matter what not everyone is perfect.

  • that bitch is more worried about his car than the other people..

  • @V01C3Y no he didnt know at first that they were injured or dead but later he realised it

  • :-(

  • To be honest, I actually don't understand why people are arguing over this. I can understand if your putting out your opinions but this is not a debate. Your arguments aren't going to change anything, so it's pointless. If you want to make a change to something, then actually do so. Don't sit around hoping your comments will change the world because they won't. Simple as to be fair.

  • 46 people are heartless.

  • I hope your watching this Reggie and you better you better look at her carefully 10:52 look at what you did to this beautiful girl with a bright future of studying in engineering and the only thing you think about is your fucking car? I hope you learn your lesson in those 2 prison's sentenced each for 7 years...look at what you did and i never heard you apologize to her i think you should.

    Nuff said.

  • Well he was sentenced for 7 years so that mean's he's already out since it happen on 2001 when he went to prison wow man that dude is fucked up

  • how could anyone dislike this? heartless people

  • @Wizard101IstheBeast Maybe they dislikes because they hated the drunk driver? Think! Poor poor girl. :(

  • This woman is genuinely the most incredible person i've ever seen. To have to wake up everyday and be faced with the fact your life will never be the same again, to have to relive the terrifying seconds you spent in a burning car everyday of your life: i dont know how she carries on. 7 years as opposed to a lifetime of pain and struggle hardly seems fair. To be able to forgive someone who did that to you is the most amazing act of bravery i've ever heard of. Amazing, amazing lady. <3
