I think Barlow fits the mood of Iced Earth better. I'd rather see some sort of side project with Schaffer and Owens. Owens has lots of talent, he just gets jerked around a lot.

Tim Owens is a really great singer, one of my favourite ones, but he hasn't the low voice like for the old songs from Iced Earth...

Jon's mistake was to play the old songs, wich were written for matt... the new songs from Framing Armageddon were really great sang. But still Matt is back and Owens has a really great band namend Beyond Fear^^

He was in a band called Iced Priest though. They recorded 2 albums and did a few concerts during which they played a combination of Iced Earth & Iced Priest songs.

It's kinda like that time when this one group of guys got together with another group of guys and did a tribute to both Blind Guardian & Iced Earth. I think they called it like Demons & Wizards or something like that.
