  • 32 months of lousey change, 16 months till hope!

  • Yay, the government will never be in a recession. Good to know they are going stronger than ever.

  • nice now i see why gas price gone up.

  • I can see November 2012 from my house.

  • is it just me or did that guy on the roof of that van had a rocket luncher?

  • @K1asH3r it's a minigun which can shoot like 300 rounds a second

  • what a waste of tax payers money

  • @tubedude101 Yeah, open car like the one JFK drove is waaaay better.

  • @tubedude101 CEO on wallstreet and of major bank spend way more of our money and your worried about this. Go dig a hole a live in it.

  • @dpimpchris but CEO on wallstreet dont have 2 ambulances with them you fool

  • @tubedude101 First, since when are ambulances black. That is most likley hold several swat team members to support the secret services and C.I.A.Second, the ambulance that does look like one is maybe for immediate care if he or any other member of the motorcade were to be shot or have some type of problems while in the motorcade.

  • What's the black truck? It looks like an ambulance.

  • @jazzbutterworth it's a counter attack assist vehicle.

  • @StanOfGB I should have deleted my comment, because after I posted it, I found a video of the same type that told you what each vehicle in the motorcade does. I found out this vehicle is the recovery vehicle. Maybe if the vip loses something, they retrieve it.

  • bet that he aint in one of those two limos and is in like one of the last trucks

  • Thanks for posting, 52! .... I was working at a Rite Aid in center city Philly when Pres. Clinton decided to wonder in and grab some items ... I was due to leave to catch a train but the damned SS wouldn't let me out of the store! Clinton is a very tall man..never realized it until I saw him about 15 feet from me.

  • I always kinda figured that it would be smarter if instead of this huge motorcade, presidents should just drive in normal clothes in a shitty car. No one would ever suspect a thing haha. Like if someone were to plan an attack on a president, they know he's in one of those things haha, but if he's in a 1991 camry, never know

  • @snick468 in case you don't know the presidential limo is equipped with secure telephone and video communication devices to insure the president can be reached and briefed in case of any national emergencies arise where approval is needed from him in order to act. The limo, plane are all mobile white houses and are fitted so he can always perform his duties even while traveling. it looks cool and glamorous from outside but trust me it is a stressful job with unprecedented pressures

  • @snick468 You know, Ahmadinejad (Iranian president) using 1980's old iranian made shitty car when traveling, and the motorcade just a decoy so if somebody blown up everything, he will be save and unscratched. ^_^

  • Are u tryin' to be Da Man?

  • Wow awesome job! Do you know what his destination was?

  • Look at the WHMA van in black near the end of the motorcade, is that a USSS ERT agent on the mini-gun? It is not the White House Media Agency either their vans are different, they had the WHCA radio jamming Tahoe their too like usual and infront of that it looks like the Football then the blood bank, motorcade is probably transporting Renegade and Celtic.

  • he thinks too much of himself

  • @phunkademic wow! you dumb fuck! this is how every president is protected. it has nothing to do with Obama. Jeez, do you think Obama sits and chooses which trucks should follow him? that's what the Secret Service is for and this is the protocol for every president. even X presidents get protection. I wonder what kind of education people like you have when they obviously lack some common sense.

  • @phunkademic - this is 'normal' for a president. And even if he thought too much of himself he has the right to coz he is the president of this bloody universe!

  • Damn, those are a lot of Secret Service (SS...lol sorry, just had to put that :P) vehicles. How many guards does the president need? A company size?

  • @TheGeneralHimself92 The security isnt only for the President. They also have to protect the nuclear codes and the nuclear football.

  • COOL ESCORT

  • pretty much a traveling military base

  • @Blockygraphics Isn't the US a democracy so that there are few hundred million possible successors to any incapacitated president?

  • ...nice angle....

  • I am enjoying all of your comments. Keep them coming!

  • Idk if anyone else noticed this but the 1st limo and the 2nd limo are totally different. Its obvious which one is "the beast". the 2nd one

  • U.S is the best by far... that new cadillac is a baaad baby!

  • thanks for sharing!

  • I've lived in DC ten years now and I can only say I've seen the motorcade only 3 times. LOL. It's hardly ever an inconvenience. However, living here, you do see the three Marine helicopters flying around in formation whenever he is in Marine One. For the most part, the only traffic inconvenience in this area has nothing to do with POTUS!

  • well.... if he wasnt such a shitty president, then maybe all this wouldnt be needed to this extent.

  • @Blockygraphics

okay the armor on a presidential lemo is equivilent to that of an m1a1 abrams tank if not even greater, once the president is inside the lemo it is almost impossible to get to him from the outside no matter what type of weapon you are using. 50 cal bullets would bounce off that limo in a heartbeat. you are stupid

  • In the event of threats or attack, the Secret Service have weapons ready & will not hesitate to eliminate the threat. The back hatch remains open at all times when the President is in transit. The SS also direct traffic by telling you to move far away from the motorcade. No other vehicles are allowed within a specific distance of the motorcade. Anyone's failure to comply with their directive will get you blown away!

  • @justtakeiteasy So that if the terrorists decide to attack the president, they can shoot the vehicle or person who are the terrorrists down.

  • so they can shoot out the back

  • do they always close off every street in washington when obama is passing through??

If so, how do the people in the city get around? It must drive them nuts after a while . . . I kno Id get peed off after a while if I needed to go somewhere, and what if an ambulance needed to get by with somebody having say a heart attack in the back?

  • From what I gather they close of the street temporarily. We saw similar motorcades multiple times (dignitaries?). I would think emergency vehicles would have priority over all!

  • Nope .. Nothing and NO ONE has priority over the Presidential motorcade no matter the circumstances, Ever!!

  • @lsf52 I can tell you I know for a fact for the active POTUS they do not. If an emergency vehicle not connected to the active POTUS motorcade tried to get by because of an emergency the secret service would run them off the road and detain the individuals in the vehicle. Emergency or not.

However, anyone else other than the active President, yes an emergency vehicle is allowed to pass, and that includes former President's as well.

  • @lsf52 Sorry, but NO-Body gets priority over the Presidential motorcade regardless of circumstances. To allow that would be a huge breach in security. It takes less than a minute for the motorcade to pass, & if waiting that long places the patient's life in danger, they were probably going to die anyway. We all understands that therefore nobody really gets upset concerning the inconviences. We're generally so fascinated by the encounter that we look forward to being able to tell our friends. :-)

  • @lsf52 Nope, emergency vehicles & nothing else Ever stops a Presidential motorcade for Any reason. The motorcade does not inconvience anyone because it takes less then a minute or 2 to pass. If a patient dies when pausing that short time, they were gonna die anyway. The Secret Service would never allow themselves to be 'duped' by an emergency vehicle stop. All transport is "strategic." Our President is well loved in the Nation's Capitol & people want to see his motorcade anytime. :-)

  • yes, the Gov is always on the first place. at that moment they dont care abt ambulance and things like that. moreover some of them heavily violate the driving rules which interfere safety of other ppl.

  • No. Most Washintonians are very fascinated by the Presidential motorcade. Besides, you don't get to see it as often as one might think. Every street in DC is not closed off. You just have to give way to the motorcade. You can not ride directly in front, behind, nor on the sides of it. Secret service will warn you once .. then they aim weapons .. afterwards they're all over you .. they do NOT "Play!" nor tolerate non-compliance.

  • @Tonyo1221 The security rule is that presidential motorcades never stop between origin and destination.

  • @Tonyo1221 they close them temporarily the secret service has a route that they use to get to the white house normally the President will use Marine 1 to leave the White House but say the President needs to go to the Capitol Building they'll use the limos to and from the White House

  • @Tonyo1221 They close the street completely, and they also close the street even when hes gone so If the motorcade was ever under attack they can turn around for a second escape route. ( Which was already cleared )

  • @Tonyo1221 The good news about that particular situation is that the motorcade consists of a LOT of police officers, so they would be able to direct the ambulance along pretty easily if that were to happen.

  • Thanks for sharing!

  • thats a dream job rocking a suburban with enough firepower to do the job i know this sounds bad and i voted for obama but i wanna see some ne attempt to get in the way just to see the secret service reaction and see how tactical they get

  • Bad ass, those guys in the motorcade rock

  • I happened to be at a technology convention in DC and of course had a camera and laptop with me at the time!

  • Man, that new Cadillac (2nd limo in this vignette) is huge!

  • Yeah motorcades are always neat. The U.S. generally has the best ones. Russia's are good to, but not a lot of Putin / Medvedev videos exist on here.

  • i looove those secret service trucks slick lookin
