  • "The best part of the story will be told on the last day of my life." I am 23 years old-- never in my life has that genius thought entered my head, That little boy is just like his daddy. Absolutely amazing.

  • I am so blessed to be married to a man who has many similarities to this man. A smart, fun, silly, goofy nerd for whom fun is a way of life.

  • just one of the best videos i seen all day, make that all year.... thx for reminding me life is a gift.. Thank you

  • I am moved by what a single choice the big man made has made so much difference in the world during his last part of his journey..

  • Definately inspirational. I've come away good ideas.

  • what Irony - A man who knew how to truly live, his life was cut short - what a test. I love Randy. I have so much respect for him. As an undergrad student about to head out to the "world" I am so grateful I ran into his video and hear his words. May he r.i.p always -- WONDERFUL WONDERFUL PERSON!

  • RANDY ROCKS!!!!!!!

  • The world has experienced a great loss with the death of such a wonderful man.

  • How did my last remark get a -6 rating???

All I meant was that the guy was so vibrant and witty that you really feel the loss for his family now that he's gone...

  • His oldest son is extremely sharp. He'll be intelligent just like his father.

  • randy never died. that tough piece of work still lives on in everyone's lives to this day.

  • A guru, an illuminated man. His teacher should be proud. He has reached nirvana before dying. He learned the essence of life, so few get that chance and it was all because of his courage and his close contact with love.

  • No matter how strong they are it is still sad. My brother in 2004 died of colon cancer and I know what that did to our family, extended family. He certainly is inspirational to me, no doubt. Just don't assume there is no pain that we can't see.

  • God Bless Your Family.... Just want u'all to know, but I'am sure you it...What a blessing and inspiration Randy Paush is...and will always be... you should all be Proud of Him.

  • waaah... what a husband, what a father, what a person! i hope there are many like him out there, he's such an inspiration.

  • Hi Jack... yes its maudlin,,, yes its over-produced....

    However....

    touching, nevertheless....

  • I am really enjoying watching these video of this great man. He is a brave man. I feel for him also. His children are so cute and they are smart. I am stay at home mother in kentucky of two kids, and he had a good heart. He is at peace with God in heaven now.

  • Cynthia Nixon could play Jai in the movie.

  • Thank you for posting. A life changing story indeed.

  • rest in peace randy...you did more in your short life than many manage to accomplish in double the time...

you may not get to help your kids grow up, but the lessons you left for them and the world, will live forever...

  • What?? they couldn't upload the whole video on this program??? what, Youtube doesn't let??? or the TV network doesn't let??? its broken in so many patrts?? I'm mad---(well not too mad, just like Randy coached us :-) right? ) cheers!!

  • so inspiring... what a man!

  • thank you

  • You made a positive impact on the lives of many people and your words and deeds will continue to inspire generations. Rest in peace and may God bless your family and give them the courage and fortitude to bear this loss.

  • Diane is a great interviewer.

  • rest in peace <3

  • I knew you when.... When I saw your picture in the Sun, I couldn't believe it! What a long way you've come, from an awkward, long-haired teenager sitting in class at OMHS, to now: an inspiration to many. I have a memory of you in English class, & me, going under our table, tying your shoelaces to the chair, & laughing as you stumbled getting up! My life lesson: don't underestimate anybody. You've given much & have still a lot to give. I wish you a peaceful death. Genevieve McGough McCardell
