Yeah, it's probably because it wasn't made using a drum machine and there aren't any sampled loops playing (endlessly) in the background. I prefer MIDI music too, you can load it into Garage Band and make it your own.

Great stuff, I saw David Kilgour on Channel4 in NZ a couple of years back on the top 10 show - shame he's not known much outside as I really like his sound. More please!
