DIY Dress Shirt into a Skirt with Pockets

When you tape the shirt to make the hem shorter what do you do with the knotted sleeves? tuck it under the taped part? mine looks dumb

@bluepaperback I think covering the waist and hemming the bottom with tape really helps it look like a real skirt. The one i'm using here happens to fit my waist perfectly so Im not worried about it falling down or anything. I've only worn this once out and I wore it long and my friend was passing in her car and called me to tell me she likes my skirt :P. People might notice or ask if it's a shirt, I don't really care I'd just be like yup! haha
