  • awesome mate,are you joking?

  • keep the beat! ehehehe

  • ... hey dude, go turn the Tater Tots and use an oven mitt!

    This is funny.

Hey @ 3:45 you forgot to play through the turn around.

  • @drumsrcoo

sorry,"a little more action on your side would be great".

BTW I do not practise playing drums at all I only played it for the soundtrack of my animated bLUESCARTOONs.

  • @drumsrcoo

Since I inspired somebody to get off his couch I cannot be such a loser.

Maybe I will inspire you further to put up a guitar, a harmonica, upright and electric basses and make some animated cartoons. Maybe you try to learn to speak and write in two other language than your native one.

If you only do 50% of that recommendations you surely will impress me.

Let's be friends & a little less conversation a little more action on your side you be great (like Elvis sang)

    bye& thanks

  • e tu dovresti essere un batterista??

  • Your video inspired me to play and record my try drumming (I'm not a drummer) instead of programming some loops.

The result you can hear on my tribut to Jimmy Reed if you click on my name. I would aprreciate if you would leave a comment.

By the way the song you are playing to is on the Jimmy Reed album where Reed played 12strings

    Til then

  • 22009framat thanks for the comment I'm not a drummer but I am tired of all the rock players over playing the blues and wanted to show this is all you need to learn to have fun with the blues

  • The problem with most rock drummers is

    1.they play too loud

    2.They play too much

3.They have to large drum kits and are obsessed to use every single thing of it in almost every song

4.They are doing to often breaks and fill-ins

    5. They think playing straight is boring

  • you forgot the vest!

any drummer that arrives with a vest and sweat bands is there for a work out , not to play music with anyone lol

  • Could be an indicator but like BO DIDDLEY said "you can't judge the book by looking at the cover".

I saw concert vids of Johnny Winter and his drummer Bobby Torello who almost did all the things I mentioned including wearing vest und some kind of boxer shorts but he was good and that is what counts in the end. It makes no sense to me having cemented positions but an opinion who somebody has a chance to change with good arguments (and I'm not talking about the violent arguments)

    Bye

  • i just interviewed a drummer on the phone who said he wanted a workout, and I quote. He had just declined a band who wanted him just to keep the beat.

The blues is guitar based. Only guitar, voice, harmonica and sax are allowed out front. I don't make the rules, that's just the way it is.

Once you get "too good" on your instrument, it's not blues anymore.

Once you get into arpeggios, you start to take on the role of guitar salesman, not musician. Don't get me started lol.

  • your the coolest cat on the tube . keep it up

  • the school RULES! I like that drum style-thanks!

  • wow nice lesson, and when you were using the sunglasses, u looked like one of the blues brothers:)

  • LOL
