the white spot on the next of that horse could be a bleach spot the zoo put on the animal so as to know which ones which and to keep an eye on that one.
did you notice that white spot on the one przewalski? piebaldism in a wild horse? that seems highly unlikely. has it been tested for genetic purity? it seems probable that the genes for white spotting would come from a domestic cross.
CincinnatiZooTube, I'm sorry for that previous litle argument. Perhaps it would be the best to remove it. I found HarvestMoonMSN amusing and irritated her on purpose, but in the wrong place. The horsies are truly lovely, and thanks for this vid. :)
@Feanorielle Hahaha Different countries... And I'm not a kid... Also The Pinto marking on the horse in this clip IS NOT part of the original coloring...
Just an observation. Such a low number would require quite a bit of inbreeding which is bad for the DNA structure of the offspring. That's why people aren't supposed to marry anyone closer than first cousins. What's onanism?
@WestlifeFan1995 For all the species Europeans HAVE killed off, Przewalski's horse's story is different. When the Europeans first heard of its existence, it was already very rare - and its decline had been continuing for thousands of years. Ironically, one could argue its demise was the domestication of the horse and the advanced human inhabitation of the steppes.
I'd love to have one....

It's number are increasing because recently they have been reintroduced to the wild.

Sometimes interbreeding happens quite by accident.

They must have had to breed them with other horse breeds....did anyone happen to see that pinto marking?
cammarkgross 2 years ago
@cammarkgross Yeah, I did. I figure they did some cross breeding so there would be some variation in the genes.

@cammarkgross
yes i think so too. they should do genetic testing before they do an further breeding. i think only the true wild horses should be bred.

12 animals? They must be genetically unstable. Are they prone to disease?

Who would think that? Who is behind such theories? The same who claimed that onanism is bad for your health?

Well, there you go...

@KenMacMillan No... The European's hunted them and killed them off that way... Health issues have nothing to do with it...

@WestlifeFan1995 I was talking about the lack of genetic diversity. I don't know their history nor do I care.
