Isnt it funny that the rate of law suits for malpractice in America is so high. Believe me i know your doctors are among the tops in the world, cause im studying with alot of the seeds, and many impress me! In Norway we have free health care and almost no costs for malpractice! This is the main reason for the healthcare in states: No one trusts anyone.. We have unarmed police as well.. Its like Michael Jackson said.. Gotta take a look in the mirror. see the norwegian part from sicko the movie..

Ignorant sick people in this country think that US have the only best health care. I recently visited India with my grandfather for a heart surgery and stayed in a hotel where surgeon and doctors did follow up visits after the surgery. Everything cost my grandfather very affordable amount. Everything was well explained to the patient and family every second. Surgeon who did that surgery is one of the most experienced in cardiac surgeons in the world.

Its not a big screen film, its costs are minimal. No special effects, no big name actors. So unlike other films its money is almost pure profits, so someone calling it a flop is a bit stupid especially when you take into count DVDs and TV rights. :)

Here in Mexico if you are poor IMSS is certanly awful, doctors don't care about their patients and the patients can't sue the doctors as you can in your country, so the doctors can do almost everything and never been punished.

Mr. Moore you have my respect and I wish we had here in Mexico someone like you, with no limits to say what is wrong and to try to make a change in the system.

Everyone: I just wrote a letter to my congressman, urging him to improve our health system, and I haven't lived in the US for 4 years (though still a US citizen). If I can do something, so can you. If you walk out Sicko hoping that you'll get better health care, but then do nothing, then you will have wasted the momentum created by this film. We must act now if you want change!
