i just finished the book last night. i didn't find it to be an "easy Read" - especially with regard to the explicit details of abuse by Jack Gordon, but i couldn't put the (iPad) book down.
.. i was completely moved to tears when she wrote about arriving at the hospital when Michael died and seeing his children in such a confused, frantic state.
@TabloidJunk It was pretty sad that is for sure. I found it easy to read because the prose wasn't too complex, not the content. Some of it was like "Woah!" and I just could relate to a lot of it. Sorry for the double comment, I left the first one before I started watching the video. I'm sorry you had to go through that. One of my ex-boyfriends got far too possessive of me. He got really mad because I went to an amusement park with my best friend. We were arguing one day and he pushed me down. I landed on a bed thankfully. He apologized afterwards but I ended the relationship soon afterwards.
