  • I love how the Japanese subtitles skip the "Jap stuff maybe?" line.

  • This must benn in the movie

  • in the tv show sarah connor chronicles how come there was never a cyberdyne building like that?! they kept searching for something that didnt exist!

  • I agree this should be in the movie

  • Any one know why this scene was cut? I Do.

  • Cameron wrote the best Aliens and the best two Terminators. It's amazing how bad lesser talents can screw up a great story concept.

  • @OroborusFMA Yeah but at least Terminator had a good theme park attraction and TV show while Alien had more bad movies than good.

  • I hate when people put down T3 and T4. They're good in their own rights. Don't have to watch anything past T2 if you really don't want to.

  • You Maniacs! You blew it up! Ah, damn you! God damn you all to hell!

  • So its a time loop.

  • this is by far the most important part of the terminator series because if these guy never found this chip then possibly there would have never been a war.

  • @bloodangel0412 actually if the terminator never went back in time, then they would have never found the chip or arm

  • @brokinwand92 lame. finding the chip only hastened the arrival of skynet. The continuity error was addressed in the lame

    ... ugh

  • Always wondered how they got that CPU out of the totally smashed skull.

  • My Favourites in order

    The Terminator

    Terminator 2 Judgment Day

    Terminator Salvation

    Terminator Rise Of The Machines

  • now it all make sense. i dont know why they have to deleted these scene.

  • cool scene. Im a harcore terminator fan but I have never sene this scene before.

  • @riverman83 Same here and I thought I had seen everything Terminator. I think Cameron cut this out because he as he often says "You shouldn´t underestimate your audience." And there wasn´t really any new information in this scene.

  • the most ironic scene in the entire movie! and it was left out -_-

  • Comment removed

  • Wow, what a deleted scene. I always remember the scene blanking out when the ambulance attendant shuts the last door. REAL nice to see where they actually were after all these years!

  • As interesting as this is, I'm glad it was cut. The acting wasn't just bad, as someone mentioned, it wasn't even convincing. Especially the Cyberdyne Systems guys.

    *crosses arms* lol

  • Im glad they removed this scene. It was just all too cheesy.

  • @MTERM775 I agreed with you on the series ending at T2 but I don't agree on this scene cut out, because this shows the origin of Skynet, and can't you see the irony in this, that the father of John Connor was Kyle Reese and that the father of Skynet was in fact the first Terminator. Don't you see the irony? This and the scene where Kyle cries I wish was in the movie.

  • This should have been left in

  • The only Reason this scene was cut was because it was "Badly Acted" according to James Cameron

  • this explains why Reese turned on the computers in the final scene, but still its just a coincidence that they just happened to be in cyber dyne system building

  • so the last fight was near cyberdine systems, how strange

  • Es mas, falta la parte donde sacan de la prensa hidraulica el brazo del T101... !!!

  • Esta parte una vez salio en la tv abierta y NUNCA mas la volvi a ver.... =)

  • Just imagine how many scenes James would've deleted if HE'D directed T3..... Lol.

  • @recniabsal He might've deleted that whole movie ;)

  • @recniabsal If he had directed T3, the movie would've been completely different.

  • @Partyboy22 Like Cameron said..... the series stopped at T2.

  • @MTERM775 I agree.

  • Weird...Kef stuff maybe!

  • holy shit its that chip from the 2nd one, damn you Miles Dyson!

  • @StellaSteve80

No, its the chip from the first terminator.

Like any time-travel plot line, it loops back on itself. Cyberdyne finds the chip fragments, makes a new one so it can come back, be found and be the basis for the chip to be put in the terminator and come back.

  • OMG! Epic fail! :D

  • Why don't they make a new Directors Cut for DVD with these deleted scenes?

  • they did!

  • A lot of the story makes better sense with these scenes, why were they deleted from the final cut?

  • james cameron said that this scene was bad acting so he needed to delete it

  • Incorrect, unless you can prove otherwise, I have a quote from Cameron that says he cut them because he wanted to leave questions unanswered, which makes sense because he made a sequel. "Bad acting" is VERY rarely ever attributed to scene deletion because it is VERY simple to reshoot.

  • @nuclearknight01

Read that Cameron left them out because he felt that they really didn't add anything to the plot and that they extended the running time needlessly.

  • I'm pretty sure this scene was described in the novelization.

  • Did the novelization describe the terminator effecting TV's as he walked past them?

  • If I can find my copy of it, I'll try and find out if that is so. It's been a good while since I've read it.

  • I think I saw this scene when the movie Terminator was

    on TV years ago.

  • Cyberdyne needs a new logo

  • ahaahahah true!! :DD

  • It's a stacked 3d room temperature superconducting processor. The holy grail of computing.

  • Intel Nano CPU? ;D

  • terminator should have ended on T2

  • @vinisith I agree. I liked Salvation but I despised 3.

  • @vinisith Terminator ended for me in T2. I like to imagine what happend next.

  • @GiallorossaBrigatte I agree.

  • Should have never cut this scene

  • Why they cut dat??? This scene get more sense in movie. They better not cut this one and where they decided destroy CS

  • because the director was unsure he was going to make a sequel, think the idea was, let it see how it goes on the movie chart and profits and maybe it can be added in the near future, well, terminator sold well for a sequel, he thought it would of stopped there on terminator 2, that's why he made the alternative ending where judgement day never came on T2.

  • The idea for Cyberdyne was going to be in T1 but they cut it and used the idea in T2 instead.Would have been good if they left it because it would indicate a sequel to people.

  • they didnt cut this now you know how miles dyson got the terminator arm + chip

  • they did cut this from the final version....cameron didnt want it in, he wanted to leave a few un answerd questions..but ur right bout the arm n chip

  • So the CS was close to the place where the final battle of the first movie happened!

  • Actually, it was the same place. Crazy shit indeed.

  • I'm glad they cut this, it's a little too 'on the nose.' I was only 12 or so when I saw this movie, but I still got the point. I still immediately realized that the company she has the fight with this machine might just be Cyberdyne Systems and that they find the chip and that leads to the 'rise of the machines,' as it were.

  • LOL original cyberdyne sistems.

  • Should have left this scene in the final cut.

  • How amazing is it for somebody to get their hands on a piece of technology in a time that it didn't exist yet?

  • Its pretty hard to top T2, that movie is nothing but epic. Im glad they contiune to do terminator movies, i love the theme and its univers. Keep em comeing, as long as they keep a quality no lower then T3. Im not saying it was great but it was enough for a sequal i say.

  • Lol!

I just read something very interesting:

Cameron originally envisioned the Terminator as a small, unremarkable man, giving it the ability to blend in more easily. As a result, his first choice for the part was Lance Henriksen. O. J. Simpson was on the shortlist but Cameron did not think that "such a nice guy could be a ruthless killer".

  • @Pssybart LOL, the irony.

    "Nicole Brown Simpson?"

    "Yes?"

    *smash*

    "You are terminated"

  • @Pssybart Yeah and also Arnie origonally was trying out for Reese but JC said "No Your The Terminator"

  • @Pssybart ..LOL...i know the irony of that is unbelieveable.....also Arnold was intended originally to play Reese....its funny to think of reasons this movie might have been rememebered for had Cameron gone with his original choices (especially O.J.)

  • @Pssybart

lmao, O.J. was such a nice guy. :D

  • @Pssybart lol,, thats true.

  • @Pssybart - Irony............Lol

  • @Pssybart yeah he should have used OJ lol.

  • @Pssybart Goes to show ya, you can never tell.

  • @Pssybart Yeah, OJ being a ruthless killer is something that reads between the lines on that horrible day of May 1994.

  • @Pssybart I loved Lance Henriksen in Aliens.

  • @Pssybart xD

  • @Pssybart are you serious. O.J. Simpson?

  • @Pssybart Obama.

  • @Pssybart if henriksen would get the role this movie would just end up like another picture that every one forget in a year.. Arnie gave a real meaning to this character... ruthless unstoppable machine...

  • Should have kept this bit

  • They broke into Cyberdyne, son of a bitch

  • The terminator movies has one BIG time-paradox. If Cyberdyne systems hadn't got a hold of the first terminator's cpu, there would've been no terminators and no judgement day. But if the terminator hadn't been sent back from the future, Cyberdyne wouldn't have been able to get a hold of its cpu.... The terminator must've been built before sent back in time, yet... the terminator must've been sent back in time before being built!!

  • well maybe without the t800 coming back maybe skynet was just formed later maybe in the 2000's

  • But in the second movie we learn that the terminators wouldn't have been built without the cpu of the first terminator that was sent back. So Skynet would not have been formed if the terminator was not sent back, and the terminator must've been built before being sent back, right? So, who built it in the first place?!

  • damn, your right the timeline is one confusing motherfucker,im guessing without that chip as a base it would be like a 50 more years until that kind of technology

  • It built itself. It's a paradox but it makes sense. It's a side effect of time traveling, when the the individual time traveler no longer follows the flow of everything else. There is no original timeline and there is no loop. It created itself the whole time.

  • Exactly!

  • i agree, but maybe thats why they deleted this scene from the film so Cyberdyne could have still existed and that chip wasnt the start of it all...

  • You're forgetting one crucial element. In T-2 they destroyed the chip and the terminator's arm, along with all the paperwork and research that had been done, and at that time they didn't have the machines yet. Cyberdyne managed to come up with their own ideas and design. I see the paradox you're talking about, but in the end, Cyberdyne showed their own ability to activate Skynet without the help of a machine from the future. That's why there are four terminator movies instead of just two.

  • Actually, I'm not talking about the last two, because they're not by James Cameron. Cameron's films to me will always be the "real" terminator movies. And by the way, Cameron could've used the alternate ending for T2 which shows that there was no judgement day (the video's avaliable on youtube), so for him that was it! The last two movies were so bad and ridisulous that I'm not gonna count them.

  • Well, I've seen the alternate ending for 2. I'm just saying, that's not what they used and there are four movies, whether anyone likes it or not. The last two might have sucked but they are still there and they continue where the story left off. You may or may not want to count them, but they have the answer to your paradox.

  • But they're not Camerons movies, that's why I don't count them. And they've been made about 20 years after the first two! Anyway, not important....

  • T3 and T4 make T2 obsolete!!! T2 is all about stopping skynet...but this doesnt happen even with miles dyson dying!

  • no t3 is a somewhat stupid sequel because of all the moronic jokes and too much sex references but t4 is just downright disgusting. skynet isnt stopped if they destroy cyberdyne since this company isn't the one who originally built it. it was first built by USAF (as told in t3) and then judgement day happend, sarah child (maybe a girl) was a leader, then T1 happens with two guys sent back, and t800 being crushed in cyberdyne which develops skynet. in t3 its just postponed

  • ya but in t2 all we knew was that skynet had to be stopped , it was stopped but made no difference!! watching the movie is like...much ado about nothing!!

  • yeah if you think about it very superficially. it's the same with the matrix, neo gets killed but he lives again. what a waste of time!

  • no its different ...the marix has different time dimensions

  • KamasutraButterfly- Ok man they are not THAT bad yes nothing compared to 1 and 2 but still

  • I would have loved to have seen how skynet starts in the original universe, not the parallel one caused by the T800 going back in time. I've always wondered how that would have went.

  • Advise.... Write fan fic and see what happens.

  • That is how he is started! As is John Conner... both of them would have never been without time travel.

  • exactly right, the terminators had to be sent back so all of the war etc could happen

  • I disagree with the previous commentators. I think they were wise to let this one go because for people who haven't seen T2 it appears too random and distracts us from the emotion.

  • yeah, plus those actors were pretty stale. terminator 2 tells what happened anyway

  • They should have kept this, it explains about how Skynet first comes around in the beginning. It sets itself up perfectly for the sequel.

Apparently though, it was dropped because they didn't want it to take away from the sadness and pain of Sarah losing Kyle.

  • I hate that "emotional" shit!!! It so soap opera!!!

  • That makes no sense. This film isn't some typical loud, pointless action film. It's not all on one level, the "emotional shit" as you so call it is an important part of the film's message.

  • No, you got me wrong!!!!.I meant I would have loved the plot with cyberdine and not focus on the emotional "shit" with Kyle.

I hate when the personal story and emotional cornysh jumps over a good solid plot, like in this case.

  • i've thought about it, but i was never too good at that stuff. but what the hell i'll try it

  • Yeah, I know what you mean.

  • I was talking about that. Kyle's love for Sarah is crucially important to the plot. If you think about it, Terminator 1 was almost a great big love story.

  • Well that's your opinion, but many people like the emotions in this film. I don't like when it's all just action after action after action after action. I like a mix of emotion in there too!!

  • Well then how the hell would john conor been created if there was no "emotional shit" with kyle???

  • Hey don't you think you're all takking this shit seriously!? leave me alone assholes!

  • they should of kept this.

  • look if they had left these scenes(this one and the one with sarah talking about destroying cyberdyne) then you wouldnt be surprised when you saw terminator 2,hell youd already be expecting terminator 2 and you'd know what the whole plot was about.sure thats how they make movies these days release one and you already know theres like 3 more sequels coming up but hey it wasnt like that, and those scenes were cheesy anyway

  • Holy shit! This microprocesor was found in Cyberdyne Systems! I never seen this!

  • ohhhhhh what?? Shoulda had this in the movie i reckon

  • I think they were, but they were unsure if they would do a T2 movie, I think once Terminator Salvation comes out on dvd, i think they should re-release all the dvds to all the terminator films with uncut footage in each of them, there is so much deleted from theses classic films.

  • that's waht i was thinkin

  • this wou been go to

  • never seen this before

  • Those guys can't act

  • thats why it was probly chopped from the movie.

this scene explains alot and to not put it in with the final cut dont make sence to me? but yer they where fucking rubbish actors.

  • This stuff really should of been in the remastered versions that were released years back, would of been cool to see all that stuff.

  • I heard that this was cut because it was "poorly acted."

  • It was poorly acted, but it's still a cool scene

  • They should have left it in, it sort of explains that they already changed the future, which is why there was a more advanced terminator in part 2.

  • It's too bad this scene had to go. It would have been kinda shocking to the audience. BUt you can't add em all and this seemed logical to take out. besides, T2 showed all the cyberdyne systems thing. so it wasn't really necisarry to add it i the final cut.

if u really wanna see this scene in the whole movie, get the diretor's cut if it makes you sleep better at night. yeesh

  • i respect cameron for all deleted scenes at t2. until now i didnt know about and wasnt really intrested in the fact t1 has some deleted scenes too.

i think this one here would had been a perfect crossover to t2.

  • yeah, I agree, this one should of been left in, as well as the lt traxler scenes, where the cop started to believe it.

  • i think i might just cut this scene unto the end of t1 for myself to have.... :)

  • another great scene

  • Why Camoron (yes, I chose to spell his name that way) decided to cut this scene goes to show you how bad his decision making process is. That is a critical scene and explains a great deal between the 1st and 2nd films. We would have had Linda Hamilton in the 3rd film if Camoron hadn't slept with that skank while filming the Titanic. He pissed her off quite nicely and she refused to be in the 3rd film even though he wasn't involved.

  • Umm, she didn't wanto be involved because she read the script and felt that it wasn't good enough. If James directed it, she would of joined.

  • Where did you read that? She totally hated Camoron after his betrayal. She wanted nothing to do with it regardless of the script.

  • Hamilton has slammed the forthcoming third installment of futuristic robot thriller TERMINATOR 3 as 'soulless' Hamilton refused to star in the latest update of the robot saga, saying that the first two Terminator movies were actually pretty high minded and there was a message about the human condition, but TERMINATOR 3 seemed to have no regard for human life.

  • mrblob20, I have no doubt that she made a "public" statement that would make it appear that she declined based on professional reasons but in reality, she hates Cameron & wants nothing to do with anything related to him. Would you agree that this is a possibility since she didn't offer any script changes that would make her happy enough to go forward in reprising the role? I mean, you know as well as I do that initial scripts are just a foundation for a story and certainly not the final product.

  • Would you also agree that it's a possibility she is telling the truth? Also, why would she read the script if she wanted nothing to do with it. Where is your evidence for your accusations anyways?

  • Your arguement is flawed, Hamilton is scheduled to be in T4 in some capacity.

  • Are you going to post a source for Hamilton's feelings about T3 or are we supposed to just take your word?

  • Why don't you google it? I can't post web site addresses in comments.. duhhhhhh

  • That is the loop of the time line.

  • By altering this time line, this is how and why it lead to Terminator 2: Judgement Day. one of the best movies in the world, especially the beginning. by messing wioth the time line, the future Reese came from is probably altered or changed in some way. maybe this is the idead fro T4. HMM???

  • yurusenia. watch the proper clip again you dumb fuck it shows sarah killing the terminatol by crushing the whole body even the head it obviosly fell out when the skull was being crushed

  • I would have kept the chip and give it to the kids to play with. what a waste.

  • Why did they deleted that scene??

  • They should have left this scene in the movie.

  • It was deleted, probably because chip couldn't lay on the ground just like that. It was deep inside endoskeleton's skull, and I can't imagine how it could felt out from it so easly.

  • they should have left that scene in.

  • so it begins

  • HA!! i knew it! ohhhh sweet irony.

  • THOSE BASTARDS! They knew the whole time...

  • this is crazy This Scene iz gold why did they delete it

  • why did they take this out? this is important! it sets you up for T2.

  • sooo...

the only reason cyberdyne even makes the super computers or terminators is mainly because the terminator is destroyed in there factory? sooo thats just too much to think about and im pretty sure your head explodes if you put too much thought into it.

  • Arm of T-800? This is a very important scene!

  • Why was this scene deleted? I mean, dont the people wondered who the hell Cyberdyne Systems is, and where they god the chip and the A

  • Should have kept it in the orginial. Love how the camera just scrolls up and it shows they were in Cyberdyne the whole time.

  • I wonder how the Cyberdine employee can just pick up the terminator CPU right from the floor. I would have thought, the chip was still in the squeezed head of the terminator.

    But anyway an interesting scene.

  • i never understood why this was not included...it makes perfect sense for the continuity of T2 and was something that a lot of fans questioned about.

You have Hamilton and Biehn in the movie and he thought that THIS scene was poorly acted!

  • James Cameron said the reason this Scene was taken out was because it was poorly acted

  • Yes but also gives T2 better storyline...

  • Any idea what Cyberdyne manufactured in that building at that time? What were those machines for?

  • computers

  • I don't think they use those kinds of robots to manufacture computers. Cars, maybe, but I doubt computers.

  • no i just watched the movie yesterday, cyberdyne manufactures computers

  • In T2 John says that she desroyed a computer factory

  • whoa! it turns out they were in cyberdne, the company that creats the terminators. this should have been left in the movie
