great motors ! mines a 1998 model, the bodywork is like new but the underneath is badly corroded. Just passed mot but i got told it wont pass another one next year. Going to look for an 04 reg and use this for spares. i think 04 reg beats the new road tax rip off ! so up yours Gordon Brown !
Yes you're right, You can go up to a 55 plate, my 3.0 Grand Cherokee was registered late oct 2005 and I pay low road tax.
4x4 last so much longer the "super mini" micro mini crap and all the parts last longer - including the tyres - so life cycle of the vehicle, taking into account the parts consumed as well as the fuel, they're better that something that falls in bits after 5 years.
Thumbs Up for all who own and use proper 4x4 SUV's (with a low range t'case) XD
