Asia in general has a higher level of math compared to USA. Well, not all people obviously but it sure is harder to find people who suck at math in Japan (maybe because I am not there as often as here). But you certainly won't find those bad at math working at banks, which is more than I can say about tellers here. Ironically, one of them was a few years ago at SF J-town California Bank and Trust.

I hear JET is pretty good, at least when it comes to teaching English in Japan. I don't know much about it though. One person I'd recommend watching is "Jason and his Argonauts" - Just search for "Jason" and "JET" and I'm sure you'll find it on either YouTube or the web.
I'm sure they do, but it still takes up to 6 months for animals to show signs of rabies, which means if you bring one to Japan, they put it in containment for six months to make sure you aren't bringing any rabies over.
I'm a student at Virginia Tech, majoring in biology. I would really really love to go to Japan as an exchange student, but I would definitely need a scholarship! Now why would a biology major go to Japan? Do you have any interesting stuff about biology in Japan? Like a special flora or something?
Yeah, definitely take the biology route. It's unique, stands out, and is still academic. I know nothing about flora, though, you'll have to figure that part out on your own
so I get that manga and anime aren't the best things to bring up, but what if, like myself, your serious studying to be a manga artist in a Japanese Senmongakkou and you're beginning to run out of funds. Anyway to get a scholarship there?

Asia in general has a higher level of math compared to USA. Well, not all people obviously but it sure is harder to find people who suck at math in Japan (maybe because I am not there as often as here). But you certainly won't find those bad at math working at banks, which is more than I can say about tellers here. Ironically, one of them was a few years ago at SF J-town California Bank and Trust.

I hear JET is pretty good, at least when it comes to teaching English in Japan. I don't know much about it though. One person I'd recommend watching is "Jason and his Argonauts" - Just search for "Jason" and "JET" and I'm sure you'll find it on either YouTube or the web.

I'm sure they do, but it still takes up to 6 months for animals to show signs of rabies, which means if you bring one to Japan, they put it in containment for six months to make sure you aren't bringing any rabies over.

I'm a student at Virginia Tech, majoring in biology. I would really really love to go to Japan as an exchange student, but I would definitely need a scholarship! Now why would a biology major go to Japan? Do you have any interesting stuff about biology in Japan? Like a special flora or something?

Yeah, definitely take the biology route. It's unique, stands out, and is still academic. I know nothing about flora, though, you'll have to figure that part out on your own
