Yeah. You gotta be on your toes with games like this...well, Sierra games in general. That's why I never finished any of them...I was a kid, and a not that intellectual one (at least not in the game area; but now I love video games).
Oh god......Laura Bow was my freaking IDOL when I was younger o_o..Mh, guess she still is...kinda. But I'm curious to hear the voices as well, I didn't even know that there was a version with voices.
Peter Lorre impersonations FTW! I think that the best voice was Steve's, he sounded like the fourth member of a barbershop quartet. I loved this game when it first came out, my mom actually woke me up twice in one night when she found the Pterodactyl Man and Ziggy's Head.
Do you guys remember playing the first laura bow mystery? The Colonel Bequest. That made my heart beat because you dont know what lurks around the corners. For instances I opened this closet and two hands drag laura inside.
Anyway this laura bow quest is alright but it dosnt have the suspense as the first. But there is some realism like examining dead bodies up front.
Oh. I remembered this game. I watched my second older sister played this game when I was little. The way the victims died were gruesome. I got nightmares from the game when I was little. Now, I like to be the triller.
Well, the disk version offers no speech mode and currently I don't have the CD-ROM version. But I promise to upload the enhanced intro as soon as I get a copy of the CD version. Never heard the voices before so I'm really curious anyway. Oh and I agree, twas a great game, I really love the atmosphere of both LB games.
Carrington?! Cripes that used to be my name. And is that dude the murderer? How sad...
Haha. I thought that woman was asking Laura "Are you sanitary?" before I saw it was "a secretary". Thanks for uploading!

A LITTLE bad luck?!!? She lost her money and suitcase as soon as she got off the train! Sorry, but I am just not that optimistic. :(

I'm actually considering making an adventure mystery game like this. Besides a language, is there a game program for these types of games?

Yup, there sure is, I have a cd-rom copy myself, and I love it. Ziggy's voice is just plain creepy.

My FAVORITE game in the world!! :D
Too bad you didn't use the speech mode though; everyone's voice is utterly ridiculous. XD Ah, I love this game...
