Probably a plant. She's young, cute, photogenic, has a good job, is from New York, is well spoken.......I'd be more inclined to believe she wasn't a plant if she were a 500 pound welfare queen from Alabama with no teeth in her head.

I don't understand the hype, I've solved Wheel Puzzles with no letters, on a couple occasions, not necessarily 27 letter ones, but defintely not bonus puzzles. Pretty long though. This is certainly very believable.
To all who say that she should have picked a T : learn to count there are 4 O. Anyway sometime when you are too excited you can make a wrong decision, it could be the case here.
i think she went with "L" instead of "T" is because she wanted to eliminate the potability the first word was not something like "I'LL". I dont think she cheated but just was having a good day.
Who says she knew about it beforehand? (Don’t believe post-achievement interviews - that stuff is usually inflated). According to her logic in this video, an L would have been the most optimal choice to make. The _’_ _ word in her mind was either an I’ve or an I’ll. There’s only really one way to check - pick I, V, or L. There are two Ls and one I and V... so if it was I’ll she just got 1800, if not she knows what the word is. She got lucky with the L in feeling, and the rest is history.
I can see her picking the L in the heat of the moment as opposed to the T. I mean, she had just figured the puzzle out. She wanted to go with it and impress everyone. She was in no mood to be figuring out what the best mathematical letter for her was.
@Summonearth Absolutely. All the haterz on this page are just dumbshits who couldn't spell their own names in the same amount of time it took her to solve the puzzle.

She admitted that she knew the answer before she picked her letter. This was very clearly stated in her CNN interview that everyone is now talking about.

@twoblgjets She FIGURED OUT the answer prior to picking the letter. She didn't know the answer prior to the puzzle even coming up. How many words can you think of that are spelled _'_ _ other than "I'll" and "I've?" It's not incredibly remarkable to understand how she figured the puzzle out in that short amount of time.
But what does it matter? Since conspiracy theories are self-contained and every bit of evidence against it is MORE evidence for it... am I just talking to a wall?
I'm certainly suspicious. A good feeling about this? Wonder if someone on the show's staff, perhaps even Pat Sajak himself, was hoping for a trip to the Caribbean with a fairly attractive young woman.
Using that logic, she would've also played out the last word since it could have been "this", "that", "them", or any other 4-letter word. @twoblgjets Who on earth would ever put up the phrase "I've got a good feeling about that" or "I've got a good feeling about that" for a puzzle that requires some knowledge about common phrases? Not everything is a frackin conspiracy!
FAKE! Notice how fast she was ready to solve after the "L" - basically 1.5 seconds. If she really knew what it was already, she would have chosen a "T" which would have made it 3 letters on the board and more money. But then Wheel Of Fortune wouldn't be able to claim that it was only 1 letter on the board. So, it was FAKE and FIXED.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
@twobigjets so, something never came to you out of nowhere? obviously it was luck, and for your "T" money theory, she says "it is a prize puzzle" so she cared more about the prize to the carribeans than an extra 1800 dollars..
Go watch the CNN video where she said she knew the answer before choosing the "L". Why did she not pick a T instead then? That would have been more money for her, but less of a news story. Staged indeed.
I just saw the CNN video too. Even if it was a prize puzzle, if she already knew the answer it makes no sense why she would pick an L over a T. I mean she claims to be a lifetime wheel watcher but she made a mathematical mistake my 1st graders wouldn't make. She shorted herself 1800 dollars. I'm starting to believe this was a publicity stunt for the show.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
@sandyaviles79 Absolutely incorrect. If she chooses a letter that pops up a bunch of times, then this doesn't end up a big deal and she never gets fame. Having 1 letter revealed and answering made this an instant celebrity moment. She's making enough cash from appearances to make up for that $1800 difference.
Why would this show need publicity from lower rated programs when it is aired in prime time television with sky high ratings? It gets its own publicity. Plus, that would be fraud which could destroy the show. She wasn't doing math and also the picking of the L was the one letter would confirm what she thought the puzzle was - the only other word other than "I've" the first word could have been was "I'll" - as soon as the Ls did not appear there, she knew she was right.
@sandyaviles79 Anyone can look at the puzzle and know that the very first letter is an I. It can basically only be the contraction "I've" or "I'll" By guessing an L, rather than a T or G (both of which occur 3 times in the answer, and therefore more money) assure her that the first word is absolutely "I'll" or "I've," and if the only L that shows up is right in the middle of the big word, and that's the ONLY L, then she knows it is definitely what she thought it was. Guessing T won't confirm.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
@KeepnMyM6 You know, KeepnMyM6... you are one of the Chosen Few who see the Light, instead of us blind ones who are just sheep to their Wheel of Fortune Illuminati. Of COURSE she chose the L... everyone knows that if you're going to pull off a big conspiracy like this, the people perpetuating the conspiracy are smart enough to pull it off ALMOST perfectly, except for that ONE fatal error that reveals their sinister plans so people like you can reveal them for who they REALLY are.
@KeepnMyM6 Are you serious? The first word could have been I'll and that was the way to confirm it. If it was staged they would have gotten very negative publicity as that would have been fraud and subjected them to civil penalties and possibly destroyed the reptutation of the show. This show and this seen were on prime time television and has very high ratings - it's ridiculous to say they wanted or needed publicity from other much lower rated programs.
All those boneheads who comment and say "I could have solved this as well!", wake the fuck up you fucking retards! You couldn't and wouldn't EVER have been able to solve it, but I understand why it makes ya'll feel good to say that you could have.
Dang that was so cool.... i was trying ti figure the phrase myself but I couldn't go anywhere for about 37 mins to be exact, and she guess it in just a mere 5 seconds wow
Probably second time I watched WOF this year, and it was this episode. Right before she guessed it I was thinking of an A Team episode where one of the guys was on WOF, and he knew all the answers beforehand, and the this happened. It was like WTF. But I didn't think she cheated or anything. I thought the lady should have tried to get more money, but at the same time it's cool guessing it with just one letter.

I think the apostrophe was a big clue.
However, what she did sure stunned everyone lol.

@twobigjets so, something never came to you out of nowhere? obviously it was luck, and for your "T" money theory, she says "it is a prize puzzle" so she cared more about the prize to the carribeans than an extra 1800 dollars..
w31rdon3ss 1 year ago
@w31rdon3ss
Go watch the CNN video where she said she knew the answer before choosing the "L". Why did she not pick a T instead then? That would have been more money for her, but less of a news story. Staged indeed.

@KeepnMyM6

@sandyaviles79 Absolutely incorrect. If she chooses a letter that pops up a bunch of times, then this doesn't end up a big deal and she never gets fame. Having 1 letter revealed and answering made this an instant celebrity moment. She's making enough cash from appearances to make up for that $1800 difference.
travcm 1 year ago
@sandyaviles79 She chose L to deconfirm that the first word was "I've." She was "sure" she was right but you never know.
freddiegibbs101 1 year ago
@sandyaviles79 - Considering Wheel's the #1 syndicated show, why would they need a "publicity stunt" to boost ratings?
WhatsAYak 1 year ago
Why would this show need publicity from lower rated programs when it is aired in prime time television with sky high ratings? It gets its own publicity. Plus, that would be fraud which could destroy the show. She wasn't doing math and also the picking of the L was the one letter would confirm what she thought the puzzle was - the only other word other than "I've" the first word could have been was "I'll" - as soon as the Ls did not appear there, she knew she was right.

@sandyaviles79 IF SO, THEY SUCCEDED, UR ALL TALKING ABOUT THIS
caezar1993 1 year ago
@sandyaviles79 Anyone can look at the puzzle and know that the very first letter is an I. It can basically only be the contraction "I've" or "I'll" By guessing an L, rather than a T or G (both of which occur 3 times in the answer, and therefore more money) assure her that the first word is absolutely "I'll" or "I've," and if the only L that shows up is right in the middle of the big word, and that's the ONLY L, then she knows it is definitely what she thought it was. Guessing T won't confirm.

@sandyaviles79 She wanted to make sure it of it the first word was i've or i'll

@KeepnMyM6 You know, KeepnMyM6... you are one of the Chosen Few who see the Light, instead of us blind ones who are just sheep to their Wheel of Fortune Illuminati. Of COURSE she chose the L... everyone knows that if you're going to pull off a big conspiracy like this, the people perpetuating the conspiracy are smart enough to pull it off ALMOST perfectly, except for that ONE fatal error that reveals their sinister plans so people like you can reveal them for who they REALLY are.
Come on! -_-

@KeepnMyM6 You could also said, that if it was staged, she would picked T instead of L. Your argument is invalid.
