These are two small islands with very small populations, the pilot does the check in inside the small aircraft, and then they are straight to take off. There are other smaller islands so it is part of an "island hopping" route.

Any bridge would cost millions, and they would need several bridges for all the different islands ! Of course if you were willing to make a very large donation...
