Blue screen of death is actually not a bug....it comes because of faulty or malfunctioning of the hardware such as ram, processor, pci-cards, etc...so as soon as the hardware misbehaves windows shows the blue screen to prevent hardware from getting damaged...get more info about bsod on wikipedia

@xxxyboy3000 Thats true on an NT based version of Windows, but for the DOS based 9x versions, BSODs were all too common. If you ejected a floppy at the wrong time you'd get a BSOD on 9x. NT is much better, that is why it has been used for all new OSes (2000, XP, Vista, 7)...
@xxxyboy3000 or crappy drivers that are necessary because windows supports almost no hardware OOB so oems must provide drivers. Quite a few of these companies are not software companies and don't have the resources to write good drivers. BSODs can also be cause by mistakes windows its self makes, although not as often as the former. Usually when windows its self makes a mistake it just messes something up and moves on rather than crashing completely.

I've used Vista and 7, and i know there are bugs. Everything's perfect 'til you start using it. Soon you can't run 2 windows at once and everything starts freezing up. I'm fine with XP, not mac.
i have used win xp,vista...xp was a awesome operating system no problem with that...but vista was a shit....now i am using windows7 since oct 22...(the official version) it work fine for me...the problem with ur pc is may be ur system req not meets the 7 requirements...microsoft had worked really hard to repair all the bugs by providing free beta copies...so the offical version is bug free...i am also using many old & new softwares...and i never found any bugs & 7 never got crashed..nor BOD

About a decade ago, Bill Gates was demonstrating something for Windows and he got the Blue Screen...he laughed and said "Oh, Oh!" Every software has it's flaws and bugs, he knows that, I know it, and you know it.

i'm sure people have written crap on the net about bill gates, using internet explorer, but i'm sure he can't help but laugh at these people. I mean, how could you stay pissed off knowing they are struggling to pay for their houses, while you are raking in billions.
Besides, i'm sure the late show would've used macs during production. Apple has made quite a few good video editing applications, plus their computers are ideal for video editing.

hmmm as much as apple hates to admit it a "mac" is really just a pc(please note that pc stands for personal computer, NOT for ibm-compatible personal computer). they just crash different...and cost a whole lot more for comparable hardware...
if you want a real machine(for programming not for art) build your own machine and install linux...
or, keep paying more for shiny stuff with a bitten fruit on it....

It has occurred to me that Bill Gates may on balance end up causing more human suffering than any other single individual in History. 1) via the daily misery wrought upon millions of people by the soul crushingly, spirit sappingly aweful software his company have foisted upon the world over the last 20+ years. 2) via spending the vast profits so generated eliminating the few diseases which ever stood a hope of keeping human numbers in check, hence precipitating a global Malthusian catastrophe.
