I basically envision New Orleans as jazzed out black guys everywhere walking down the street playing some kick-ass horns and groovy blues. And amazing cajun food, the best damn fried chicken in the world, and drive through alcohol stands everywhere. What a magical city!
Man, she's still got it. Bonnie you've been such a HUGE influence on me since I was 10 back in 1970. I saw you put on a GREAT show here in Philly at the Beju Cafe back in 1973,. Thank you for the years of stories, music and love. Your fan Dave
Probably my favorite Bonnie Raitt song (Even though Sippie Wallace originally perfomred it.) I think I like the version on the Bonnie Raitt Collection better tho, with Sippie Wallace. By the way. Does anyone know where I can find sheet music for any version of this song? I've looked everywhere. I'd be willing to trade if anyone has it. :~) E-mail me: Lynch_Mobster_47@yahoo.c o m
Bonnie does such a good job incorporating the new with the old. Where else will you hear clarinet in a song. Bonnie is one of the catalysts in bringing blues to the forefront once again, besides being one of the best slide players in the biz.
thank you/

@LynchMobster47 My girl had that duet on a recording. Neither alone could challenge them together on this one.
