Even with slight damper noise, it is wonderful. It would be hard to argue that Mermod did not make the best music boxes on the planet in the early 1900's! Thanks for sharing.

Wow! What a fabulous sound! Sadly we have only few of this late- style Mermod instruments in Europe. They are much Polyphons, Symphonions and Kalliopes but this first class Mira, Stella and (Cylinder-)Ideal Music boxes are rare here. I'm surprised to hear such a perfect music box in good condition on youtube. Thank you (Also for your 27" - Regina recordings!!)
