By far one of teh most short lived but amazaing Canadian bands... Great name if you know about "the staggered crossing" got to meet the guys in Ottawa for a smalll private show, then Planted with John would is one of teh Bnad member's brother, I am writing this all while enjoying a cold beer that is sitting on a Staggered Crossing coaster. Have you ever driven down the 401, seeing as they talk about the 115 I'm guessing they are reffering to the 401 near this area. There is the 5-th Wheel truck stop at Waverley road (10 acre truck stop), down the road futher by Wesleyville Road there is another truck stop with a tim hortons, gas bar, service station, wendys, mr.sub etc same as the one just east of Mill Street.
Okay...I;'ve been down 115 as well...I realize there is a truck stop there (hardly the scene for ;'champagne and cigarettes)...Either way, the 401 is not worthy of rock n roll notice....Its the crappiest drive in Canada...hands down
I met JT outside his hotel one night, and he is really nice guy! This would have been in 2000 or 2001. Him, myself and a friend, 'may' have smoked a joint together... lol Good band, it's a shame they split....
