Listen, asking a girl out and her saying no wont be the end of the world. There are a lot worse things that can happen to you. I am in love with the greatest person who Ive ever met in my whole entire life, and my best friend got involved with her and knew how I felt and we were going to go out. The past few months have been hell for me. She loves me but cant be with me, and she has to get rid of those feelings. So dont even think that your situation is bad (not trying to sound mean or anything)

i'm having kinda the same problem. i like my brothers friend and he likes me back but we can't go out cause my brother won't let us. he said i should forget about him. it feels like i'll never be happy untill i see him. now if i ask him if he likes me all he says is "i'm not saying if i do or don't. it won't change a thing" LOVE HURTS!!!!!
