@SuperClintEastwood it was sick and used in a dnr study th eway it did no trun with the others it needed to be downed before someone that didnt kno wit was from a study hunted it!!
its dead now stfu its the way of life. bitchin about it on utube comments doesnt change anything cause no one cares... if u eat meat and think this is wrong, do some research and see what happened to those cows pigs and chickens before you ate it...
im not against the hunting... but u shot it in non lethal spot. would u like it if u got stabbed in the gut, and bled out for a good while b4 dying or would u rather die quickly and feel nothing.... they are animals doesnt mean they dont feel pain
To all of the ANTI Hunting fuckers out there, get a fucking life...go look up how they slaughter cows and and pigs, or better yet go to a slaughter house one day and see how its done. It is 1000x worse than any deer that gets shot...And I hope one day all domesticated food runs out and we have to hunt for food....the hunters will be full and all you other anti hunting fuckers will be starving and I'll be laughing my ass off!!!
@nlincoln71mbenge "And I hope one day all domesticated food runs out and we have to hunt for food"
how would that ever happen? LOL. retard. And if it did, the worlds wild game would run out in a month or less. SO youd live for about a month and kill off all the animals in the world, meaning no way to ever get meat again.
Yea thats smart. And by the way. I am MORE against hunting then I am against slaughter houses and yes I have good reasons.
@ellipticality actually not true. the wild game would last much longer. The population in the states has about 20% that are only alive because of the medicine avail. Another large portion of lefties and non survivoirs will die from starvation lack of water and crime. that leaves the rest of us with common sense and a backround with nature plenty. Have a nice day you commie fag.
@nlincoln71mbenge There's big difference between cows in the slaughter house, and deer in the wild, cows today practically grow on trees. They are geneticalli breed to be bigger, have more meat, less muscles, the modern cow of today's world is a freak from a lab. We have on the other hand a represed and beaten eco system which keeps taking one for the team, because of school paper and bloodhorny small dicked hunters, who thinks we still need to prove we are strong by killing. not cool man...
@jordanforibanez well then calling a 12 year old stupid is so common i did not look up deer getting shot i want to hunt and therefore i adore animals so get a life and to everyone else last night on my way to the hospital cause my aunt was having her baby me and my grandpaw saw this massive huge buck standing on the side of the road.

Wow. This is getting a bit ridiculous. We often lose focus of the real issues when things become personal, as it seems like they have. Let's leave the personal grudges for a different forum and concentrate on the issues at hand. There is no need for further ramping up an already high tension issue. I mean, really...why can't we all just get along?
@OddHarvest So let's see. The way a person expresses themselves is very indicative of their mental level of process. In other words, you are quite clearly a mentally deficient person. In using the pronoun "I": you need to capitalize the "I", not post it as "ill". I would estimate by your language and response to criticism you are probably between the ages 11-15. @OddHarvest Wow, so you have a thesaurus button on your computer? Interesting choice of words. You can spell mephitic but not considered? See it is spelled c-o-n-s-i-d-e-r-e-d. There is no second "c". But a genius such as yourself who uses such words as malodorous knew that, right....RIGHT?
@rohag735 What do you load? Aren't they a little underpowered? A video camera I could maybe go along with. After all it has those moving parts you can throw at the deer if the shot doesn't work.
Crossbow for sure, may have caught the front of heart if the bolt penetrated through the leg. Shot was too far forward, not a good hit. Piss off @ all the animal rights losers, go pull your incisors out with vice grips. You don't need them anymore.
i dont understand why people click on a video of something they dont like, i dont fucking understand the logic in that?! they have to be looking for trouble, or just illiterate.
@utbethug123 lol im talking about the people who intentionally look for a vid they wont like. im not talking about people who are looking for actual hunting videos , ok if they dont like the video i understand that because they are looking for good hunting videos. but im talking about people who know for a fact they wont like it and they click it anyway. so, since you didnt show me any respect when i didnt direct anything towards you go suck a big floppy donkey dick.
@bjajudo I actually don't just blindly go with that random internet sites say. I prefer to research and find the truth. I would advise you to do the same before choosing what someone claims as truth. It's a wise decision, especially if you are going to quote it as your belief on a public forum.
@TopRanger237 Its easy to tell something is wrong with the deer just by the slow reaction time after the rest of deer saw danger and ran away while he just stood there. He prolly would have got hit by a car if he didn't get hit by a bullet first.
It makes no difference what people say..they have never walked through a cedar swamp in the spring and see the dead deer, whats worse starving or feeding a person. You could have made a head shot and the deer is dead in a snap and there would be people crying.
@bjajudo I looked but was unable to find that law. If you could point me in the direction, I would appreciate it because I would like to see how it is written. I'm not saying I don't believe you, I'm just curious to see it. When a clean kill is made, I don't think it's painful. When a bad shot is made and the animal does not die, or it takes an extended time, it may well be painful. That's why ethical hunters always aim for a quick kill. Doesn't always happen that way, but that;s what is desired
@bjajudo That doesn't make it illegal. 'Cruelty' does not include injuring an animal while hunting. This is not a law in any state. Individual states have their own hunting laws. It sounds suspiciously like you are trying to create your own interpretation of laws and make your own classifications. On a side note, a google search is not a good way to perform valid research. You need to go to each state's Department of Fish and Wildlife, or Department of Natural Resources.
the deer is still dead while standing up either it dies a few seconds after the shot or the reason for the running is the nerves and the adrenalin. if the deer dies and lies flat on the ground at the shot you are extreeeemly lucky
@MaddyRockRoxs - we can discuss animal wellfare when you realize the differences between slaughterhouses for tame animals and hunting of animals who had a great life. Besides, this deer on the video was sick, and obviously had to go. ;)
@HuntressJohanna I know the differences between Slaughterhouses and Hunting, you fool. Slaughterhouses are when animals are killed in order to make them into a delicacy. This animal was obviously shot in the leg. That IS animal cruelty, since the deer has not died. I don't see how this deer is diseased, all i can say is that one brave deer, that didn't run away when the others ran.
@MaddyRockRoxs - this animal was obviously sick, not brave, and the bullet went in from behind it's shoulders (you can see the impact of the bullet), and as I know deer anatomy, it was a lungshot, and that is considered a lethal area. The deer would have dropped within 20 - 25 yards with that shot. ;)
@MaddyRockRoxs That was a very good shot the impact would have made it a heart or lung shot . the deer was injured and it was either that or a long life of pain from the illness
@MaddyRockRoxs It was shot through the shoulder, and likely into the heart. It is not considered brave. It was shot because it was the only remaining deer. If it would have run away with the rest of the deer, it would not have been shot. Deer do not know bravery. Deer know survival. Staying in the face of danger is a human manifestation. Wildlife does not do this. I do not see how it was diseased either, but something was wrong with it, as it remained behind while all the other deer left
@olstar18 What reasons would they do this? I would love to hear your theory. Here is mine. Deer act based on 2 principles: 1) survival of themselves (hence the running from danger); 2) Survival of their species (which allows for apparent "bravery" such as when a doe attempts to face-down predators coming for her fawn. Numerous papers have been written on these subjects, and I invite you to read them. Numerous wildlife and conservation experts agree on these points.
@vailmb33 That is not survival of the species that is survival of their young. There is a big difference between the two. However that has nothing to do with the fact that when 1 deer is spooked all of them run which is survival instinct.
@olstar18 You are personifying the deer. The underlying question in this example is why do deer protect their young? Is it out of love? Well, these same deer often run their young off by nipping and kicking them before the males are one year old, so forgive me if I say love doesn't have a lot to do with it. Have you ever heard the saying "the kids are the future"? Well, it's more true in wildlife. Again, read the papers I meantioned in my last post and it should clear things up.
@olstar18 Additionally, survival instinct is survival of the species. Have you ever seen a group sacrifice one of their own in order to get away? This is because the whole is greater than one individual. This is something that humans have lost, but wild animals retain. Everything I'm saying is basic ecology. Any ecology course or book will have all these fundamental principles in it.
@vailmb33 However those books will never use such an example with deer except in cases of protecting their own young. The survival of the species bit however is garbage. No man and definately no animal thinks in terms like that they think in smaller much more manageable numbers like their young. And that still does not have anything to do with the fact that this deer was not sacrificing itself it was sick and that was the reason it was killed.
@olstar18 I never said the deer was sacrificing itself. I said there was something wrong with the deer, as the others ran and it did not. Current prevailing theory on the governances of the actions of wildlife are that their actions (especially the instinctual ones) are designed to further their species. No, they don't think in those terms, but if you would read ecology text, this would all be spelled out. You can call it garbage all you want, but this is what the experts agree upon.
@olstar18 Aren't we referring to the end results of the action? If not, what are we talking about? Being as how that's the reason the actions are being performed, it seems as though that is not only what the experts are talking about, but what we are talking about. And they are not referring to trait evolution. This is an instinctual behavior that has not been shown to change over time. That argument doesn't even make sense.
@vailmb33 Oh it makes perfect sense if you are not trying to deiy the animal by giving it traits that imply it thinks beyond itself. Phrases like 'for the survival of the species' sound good and all but have little basis in reality.
@olstar18 I'm not sure what "deiy" means. I'm not saying that deer perform these actions because they are thinking in the "larger sense." I'm saying (again, prevailing expert theory) that the instinctual behaviors that lead animals to perform certain actions, even the majority of their actions, serve to further the species. This is completely based in reality, and has been shown to be the case in numerous scientific journals.
@vailmb33 Its deify on a keyboard thats wearing out. You keep going back and forth on that larger sense part though. First they are then they aren't and your refering to the way their nature evolved then it is again now it isn't. Make up your mind.
@olstar18 Completely understandable, I just wan't sure what you were trying to say. But back to the subject at hand, I haven't gone back and forth on anything. My argument is, and always has been, that their instinctual actions serve to further the species. I have never waivered from that point. They may not always know it, but their instincts serve this purpose. I have no idea what you are saying here when you tell me to make up my mind. (additionally, "you are" is abbreviated "you're")
@MaddyRockRoxs The shot was just behind the leg and would have gone through the lung killing it. A heart shot would have been better but even the best hunter in the world can't do that every single time they shoot.
@ThreeCrowns No this guy gives conservationists (hunters in your terminology though that is to generalized a term) a good name. By taking that deer out of the population he prevented whatever disease it had from spreading to the others. When one deer is spooked they ALL run.
Upon further review, it looks as if the deer's left from shoulder was broken. If the shot did, in fact, come from the deer's right side, the shot probably hit the heart on the way throught the deer, meaning it was a great shot. You can see the point of impact on the right side of the deer to be just behind the front shoulder, which is great placement. I think it was a great shot, with a very short recovery. And he may have been using a rifle. I just really don't believe it was a bow.
@vailmb33 Well, Generally bows dont make a loud burst of noise that sound as if a gun shot, so im going to randomly guess without further review that it was a gun. It would only make sense right?
Sorry for my prior typo. I meant to say "if the shoulder was on the way to anything important."
To further elaborate on my point of those commenting on the cruelty of hunting: just because you don't see your meat killed doesn't make it any more or less cruel. In fact, nearly every slaughterhouse is more cruel than hunting. Again, research is key here. Meat does not come in the pre-packaged form that people eat. Think about how it gets there before criticizing others.
A number of things. No one know if the shot was good because we don't know the exact angle of the shot, and therefore if the shoulder on the way to anything vital. The bow actually sounded more like a crossbow, for those of you who are commenting on that point. Also, unless you are a vegetarian, you have no room to criticize hunting for being cruel to animals. You criticize out of ignorance and a desire to feel self-righteous. Additionally, profanity is completely rude and unnecessary.
now this guy knows natural selection, ya see, he shot the dumb one that didn't run away. since that deer is predisposed to not run, likely it has softer more "gamerchild" like meat. and that is the real objective right? good eats.
i live in iowa...we had some good hunting this year

Crossbow for sure, may have caught the front of heart if the bolt penetrated through the leg. Shot was too far forward, not a good hit. Piss off @ all the animal rights losers, go pull your incisors out with vice grips. You don't need them anymore.

Doesn't always happen that way, but that;s what is desired
vailmb33 10 months ago
@bjajudo That doesn't make it illegal. 'Cruelty' does not include injuring an animal while hunting. This is not a law in any state. Individual states have their own hunting laws. It sounds suspiciously like you are trying to create your own interpretation of laws and make your own classifications. On a side note, a google search is not a good way to perform valid research. You need to go to each state's Department of Fish and Wildlife, or Department of Natural Resources.
vailmb33 10 months ago
@bjajudo What? You can't be serious.
vailmb33 10 months ago 5
the deer is still dead while standing up either it dies a few seconds after the shot or the reason for the running is the nerves and the adrenalin. if the deer dies and lies flat on the ground at the shot you are extreeeemly lucky

@MaddyRockRoxs - we can discuss animal wellfare when you realize the differences between slaughterhouses for tame animals and hunting of animals who had a great life. Besides, this deer on the video was sick, and obviously had to go. ;)
HuntressJohanna 11 months ago
@HuntressJohanna I know the differences between Slaughterhouses and Hunting, you fool. Slaughterhouses are when animals are killed in order to make them into a delicacy. This animal was obviously shot in the leg. That IS animal cruelty, since the deer has not died. I don't see how this deer is diseased, all i can say is that one brave deer, that didn't run away when the others ran.
MaddyRockRoxs 11 months ago
@MaddyRockRoxs - this animal was obviously sick, not brave, and the bullet went in from behind it's shoulders (you can see the impact of the bullet), and as I know deer anatomy, it was a lungshot, and that is considered a lethal area. The deer would have dropped within 20 - 25 yards with that shot. ;)
HuntressJohanna 11 months ago
@MaddyRockRoxs That was a very good shot the impact would have made it a heart or lung shot . the deer was injured and it was either that or a long life of pain from the illness
edderz997 11 months ago
@MaddyRockRoxs It was shot through the shoulder, and likely into the heart. It is not considered brave. It was shot because it was the only remaining deer. If it would have run away with the rest of the deer, it would not have been shot. Deer do not know bravery. Deer know survival. Staying in the face of danger is a human manifestation. Wildlife does not do this. I do not see how it was diseased either, but something was wrong with it, as it remained behind while all the other deer left
vailmb33 11 months ago
@vailmb33 No wildlife does do this they just don't do it for insubstantial reasons like duty or honor.
olstar18 10 months ago
@olstar18 What reasons would they do this? I would love to hear your theory. Here is mine. Deer act based on 2 principles: 1) survival of themselves (hence the running from danger); 2) Survival of their species (which allows for apparent "bravery" such as when a doe attempts to face-down predators coming for her fawn. Numerous papers have been written on these subjects, and I invite you to read them. Numerous wildlife and conservation experts agree on these points.
vailmb33 10 months ago
@vailmb33 That is not survival of the species that is survival of their young. There is a big difference between the two. However that has nothing to do with the fact that when 1 deer is spooked all of them run which is survival instinct.
olstar18 10 months ago
@olstar18 You are personifying the deer. The underlying question in this example is why do deer protect their young? Is it out of love? Well, these same deer often run their young off by nipping and kicking them before the males are one year old, so forgive me if I say love doesn't have a lot to do with it. Have you ever heard the saying "the kids are the future"? Well, it's more true in wildlife. Again, read the papers I meantioned in my last post and it should clear things up.
vailmb33 10 months ago
@olstar18 Additionally, survival instinct is survival of the species. Have you ever seen a group sacrifice one of their own in order to get away? This is because the whole is greater than one individual. This is something that humans have lost, but wild animals retain. Everything I'm saying is basic ecology. Any ecology course or book will have all these fundamental principles in it.
vailmb33 10 months ago
@vailmb33 However those books will never use such an example with deer except in cases of protecting their own young. The survival of the species bit however is garbage. No man and definately no animal thinks in terms like that they think in smaller much more manageable numbers like their young. And that still does not have anything to do with the fact that this deer was not sacrificing itself it was sick and that was the reason it was killed.
olstar18 10 months ago
@olstar18 I never said the deer was sacrificing itself. I said there was something wrong with the deer, as the others ran and it did not. Current prevailing theory on the governances of the actions of wildlife are that their actions (especially the instinctual ones) are designed to further their species. No, they don't think in those terms, but if you would read ecology text, this would all be spelled out. You can call it garbage all you want, but this is what the experts agree upon.
vailmb33 10 months ago
@vailmb33 Chances are the experts are refering either to the end results of the actions or they are refering to the evolution of such traits.
olstar18 10 months ago
@olstar18 Aren't we referring to the end results of the action? If not, what are we talking about? Being as how that's the reason the actions are being performed, it seems as though that is not only what the experts are talking about, but what we are talking about. And they are not referring to trait evolution. This is an instinctual behavior that has not been shown to change over time. That argument doesn't even make sense.
vailmb33 10 months ago
@vailmb33 Oh it makes perfect sense if you are not trying to deiy the animal by giving it traits that imply it thinks beyond itself. Phrases like 'for the survival of the species' sound good and all but have little basis in reality.
olstar18 10 months ago
@olstar18 I'm not sure what "deiy" means. I'm not saying that deer perform these actions because they are thinking in the "larger sense." I'm saying (again, prevailing expert theory) that the instinctual behaviors that lead animals to perform certain actions, even the majority of their actions, serve to further the species. This is completely based in reality, and has been shown to be the case in numerous scientific journals.
vailmb33 10 months ago
@vailmb33 Its deify on a keyboard thats wearing out. You keep going back and forth on that larger sense part though. First they are then they aren't and your refering to the way their nature evolved then it is again now it isn't. Make up your mind.
olstar18 10 months ago
@olstar18 Completely understandable, I just wan't sure what you were trying to say. But back to the subject at hand, I haven't gone back and forth on anything. My argument is, and always has been, that their instinctual actions serve to further the species. I have never waivered from that point. They may not always know it, but their instincts serve this purpose. I have no idea what you are saying here when you tell me to make up my mind. (additionally, "you are" is abbreviated "you're")

@vailmb33 No you have waivered from that point. Go back and read your own posts.
olstar18 10 months ago
@MaddyRockRoxs The shot was just behind the leg and would have gone through the lung killing it. A heart shot would have been better but even the best hunter in the world can't do that every single time they shoot.
olstar18 10 months ago
@MaddyRockRoxs .. no its not, dont watch the video then u stupid kunt.. the title tells u whats gonna happen..

ThreeCrowns 11 months ago
@ThreeCrowns No this guy gives conservationists (hunters in your terminology though that is to generalized a term) a good name. By taking that deer out of the population he prevented whatever disease it had from spreading to the others. When one deer is spooked they ALL run.
olstar18 10 months ago
hahaha the only deer left was like: why the fuck are you guys running?
ReinoySnowboardFilms 11 months ago
Upon further review, it looks as if the deer's left from shoulder was broken. If the shot did, in fact, come from the deer's right side, the shot probably hit the heart on the way throught the deer, meaning it was a great shot. You can see the point of impact on the right side of the deer to be just behind the front shoulder, which is great placement. I think it was a great shot, with a very short recovery. And he may have been using a rifle. I just really don't believe it was a bow.
vailmb33 11 months ago 21
@vailmb33 Well, Generally bows dont make a loud burst of noise that sound as if a gun shot, so im going to randomly guess without further review that it was a gun. It would only make sense right?
NEBRASKANfarley96 9 months ago

Hunter. Ima FIARIN MA LAZOOOR!
man: wtf!
makkimakki0 11 months ago
Sorry for my prior typo. I meant to say "if the shoulder was on the way to anything important."
To further elaborate on my point of those commenting on the cruelty of hunting: just because you don't see your meat killed doesn't make it any more or less cruel. In fact, nearly every slaughterhouse is more cruel than hunting. Again, research is key here. Meat does not come in the pre-packaged form that people eat. Think about how it gets there before criticizing others.
vailmb33 11 months ago 2
A number of things. No one know if the shot was good because we don't know the exact angle of the shot, and therefore if the shoulder on the way to anything vital. The bow actually sounded more like a crossbow, for those of you who are commenting on that point. Also, unless you are a vegetarian, you have no room to criticize hunting for being cruel to animals. You criticize out of ignorance and a desire to feel self-righteous. Additionally, profanity is completely rude and unnecessary.
