I watched the last episode of GT when i was like 9 (12 yrs ago) and after listening to the full version, this song stayed in my head. Since then ive been listening to it ^_^ reminds me of my childhood

I don't want dragon ball back to be honest... It was an amazing series, but it wouldn't be dragon ball. The last episode of GT was goku as an adult, about 200 years old, everyone else is dead. and there is Goku Jr and Vegeta Jr. And they called supersayin "going blonde"...sooo.... I'd advise just rewatching the former seasons.
Sakai sang this song, she was from a japanese band called Zard, but out of the 5 members who was the only one who remained. She died in 2007, lets pay tribute to her as we are listening to this song, its a good song :) R.I.P.

GT failed especially because dbz was happy,high-spirited and inspiring even in the worst moments,but in GT everything was so dark
I never cried on dbz aside from some deaths,but GT made me cry because it was so sad and i'm not counting the deaths,in every season some villain kicks goku's ass and then a happy ending,then after all this humiliating beating he DIES!!
This is hardcore depressive for goku fans,even the sun didn't rise anymore in GT,dragon ball was not made to be a sad anime
I finished the DBZ series a week ago and when Goku killed Buu, I teared up because it was just such an intense battle and they finally did it. After all that Buu put them through, they pulled through in the end. I also thought about how much Goku has grown through the entire thing. I'm on the GT series right now and I need to find the DB series so I can watch that ( I have watched some DB episodes).
The best part of Dragonball Series was when Vegeta and Son Goku become friends and fuse together, and kick every enemy in his ass. I <3 Dragonball/Z/GT/Kai
im old but i dont regret and i aint shy to say that up to now iam still watching those "dbz moments" dbz became part of my life. thats why i feel sorry for them kids these days, watching shitty things like beiber and such,

You watch the original DB as a kid, like maybe 8 or 9
You watch DBZ when your older, maybe your like 13 or 14
Lastly, you watch DBGT when your a teenager, when your around 15 or 16, you get taken back to awesome times. GT reminds us of when we were younger and would watch the other two series. GT makes us...feel nostolgia i guess

If Dragoinball had begun in these times with the Art Style they used in the 80's no-one would have been interested, thous Dragonball Z wouln't have come into exsistance.
But since it did started airing in '86 it managed to cement itself as the greatest anime of all time even though they still use the same goddamn story all the time, that's my main negative about it

Also since ur talking crap about GT I will just say this : The English dub sucks ass and has lame ass music with shitty faulconer, bad acting , and worst of all, terrible dialog that's like 90 % off in comparison to the Japanese version which is the REAL Db experience.
@PrinceofSaiyajins456 The ONLY problem I have with the Japanese version is this: Goku and every other son is voiced by a woman... who doesn't even TRY to sound like a man.
Ah, she can get away with it as Kid Goku. Besides, thats the only bad voice in Japanese. Everyone else is great. Piccolo, Bejita, Freeza, Tien, Yamucha, Kururin, Seru, are all great...
You'll get used to the Goku, Gohan, Goten voice actor after awhile.

There basically just introducing a new plot and a new story is all, which is exactly what they did when continuing from Dragonball to Dragonball Z new plot, new story, etc...

Heres what I think
You watch the original DB as a kid, like maybe 8 or 9
You watch DBZ when your older, maybe your like 13 or 14
Lastly, you watch DBGT when your a teenager, when your around 15 or 16, you get taken back to awesome times. GT reminds us of when we were younger and would watch the other two series. GT makes us...feel nostolgia i guess

If Dragoinball had begun in these times with the Art Style they used in the 80's no-one would have been interested, thous Dragonball Z wouln't have come into exsistance.
But since it did started airing in '86 it managed to cement itself as the greatest anime of all time even though they still use the same goddamn story all the time, that's my main negative about it

@OhGodNo666 GT was good. It was unique in it's own way. Also since ur talking crap about GT I will just say this : The English dub sucks ass and has lame ass music with shitty faulconer, bad acting , and worst of all, terrible dialog that's like 90 % off in comparison to the Japanese version which is the REAL Db experience.

Ah, she can get away with it as Kid Goku. Besides, thats the only bad voice in Japanese. Everyone else is great. Piccolo, Bejita, Freeza, Tien, Yamucha, Kururin, Seru, are all great...
You'll get used to the Goku, Gohan, Goten voice actor after awhile.

@OhGodNo666 If I like GT, that means I enjoy anything dragonball related, thus making me a bigger truer fan than you are, not that I'm saying it as if I'm bragging/and or accomplished something, just stating that you aren't a true fan. Why do I like GT and you don't? Because my brain loves the idea of dragonball, it doesn't crique or question it, because anything dragonball related is just too awesome to critique.

@OhGodNo666 You aren't a true fan if you don't like GT. If you truly love Dragonball, you'll love anything relevant to it, no matter how much your head critiques it. Me and my brothers all loved Dragonball/DBZ. Once GT came out, we were so excited cause we LOVE dragonball. We watched it and nearly teared up once it finished, cause we are true fans of the idea, no matter how much you think the writing's bad. If you like Goku, and the Z characters, and hate GT, than you aren't a true fan, sorry.

@darkmastertime It's not that irrelevant if you think about it. Everything from GT does make sense and doesn't contradict anything from DBZ. There basically just introducing a new plot and a new story is all, which is exactly what they did when continuing from Dragonball to Dragonball Z new plot, new story, etc...
I'm starting to think that people who hate GT are just fans of Toriyama and not the idea. Look at the transition from DB to DBZ, it's a huge change isn't it, well same with GT.

@sikisikiamimis Another senseless commenter. GT was an amazing anime that gave a WONDERFUL ending to a Beautiful show like DBZ. Also, where in the hell did you get "season"? I'm not talking based off "seasons". Obviously every anime has some boring episodes so it's sometimes logical to skip a few. But I'm talking based off series not "seasons", and there's no way you can be a TRUE fan if your SKIP/and or Reject a whole series of the one of the BEST ANIME'S IN EXISTENCE! I

We are fans of Dragonball, we just dont like this irrelevant bullcrap. why do you think it was only 64 episodes? come on. you have to admit that GT was just people trying to milk the series.

@OMGiLuigi Another commenter who doesn't know what he's talking about. First off, Akira Toriyama never hated GT. He actually approved of it and supervised the whole series. Has it ever occurred to you that Toei can't create another dragonball series without his permission? He created the show so they need his consent. Second, they never made a mockery of the original villains, there just putting those villains in cause they thought it would be a cool idea.

Based off your logic, you can say that Dragon Ball Z was irrelevant. Look at the transition from Dragon Ball to DBZ. They introduced Saiyans, Vegeta, Outer space, and pretty much everything. But there just introducing a new plot and a new story, and that's exactly the same thing they did for GT.

So, Toriyama accepted the script and liked it, so are you hating on akira? it means that you know that he liked what they did. EVERYTHING you said is pulled outta your ass. Tell me where it says that Akira hated GT? Where? He never said that, your lying. Also, I like GT cause of a new script and a new introduction, not cause of "power freaks".
