I have a Black Lab too! We named him chubbz! We got him when he was about 3mo old and he is so smart! He rings a bell wen he has to go to the bathroom and he so gentle with my little brother and he so sweet over all! Hes only 6mo so he is VERY adventurous! Is that how your dog is! And how old is he!
PammyBunny--Thanks for the comments. He is wearing a life jacket. He doesn't really need it however we have him wear it for a few reasons. This way he is visible to the boat traffic that comes by. Wearing the vest helps him not tire out as fast so he can swim longer. Plus it has a good handle to grab him by if he tries to swim away or run away on the shore.

Watched all ur lab videos he reminds me of my last black lab Chad. I now have a yellow lab.
Ur dogs a big boy now! Love his bulky head, hes just adorable. What is the thing he is wearing while swimming? A lifebelt? :S

Ohh that is a really cool idea iv never seen anything like that before so was very intrigued!
We take our lab up north of Scotland to swim in the lochs and do hill walking every week. Where is it you stay for the water?
