this was the first album i got from them. then i back tracked and listened to their other albums. they should definitely retouch this heavier sound. not taking anything away from awesome albums like Castaways and Cutouts and The King Is Dead.

this album sucks so far... huge decemberists fan here and severly disappointed. lookslike they pulled a sargeant peppers but failed miserably. stick to a folkly style and dont over indulge.
