  • thanks a bunch for these classics. FYI, in future uploads, be sure to check 'deinterlace' on your encoding. That will remove the horizontal bar effect you can see in movement on video.

  • I've been to Fort Mountain. There is a plaque there that states the local Indians noted the arrival of the "Moon Faced" people. The moon faces had strange tools. But you look at what the built and it's just hard to think that a few Vikings could have built it. And well...it's up in the mountains about 2 hours north of Atlanta. Trippy!

  • They should have called it 'Jimmy Hill'.

  • Wow. Very interesting. My dad and i found similar stone structures on my Grandma's property in the mountains of Massachusetts in thick woods and brush. I wonder if there is any connection.

  • I really liked how Nimoy said, "Medicine Wheel".

  • It has been sooo long since I've seen these!!! Lovin' it Thanks for uploading!!!!

  • @porcoroco Yes, he has a great voice

  • these are awesome/timeless/classic, id love it to come to dvd collection & yes untouched w/original editing & everything that made it the best

  • rThanks so much for posting. Love it. If you upload more, please select 'deinterlace' when encoding, to remove the strange bar banding seen in the movement. THanks.

  • Atlantis......? Lemuria.....?.........Mu........?..........who knows...........!...........ET's..........?

one thing is fact - our history and the scripts are often wrong told over the centuries and many nonsense were spoken between the truth. so our history that we think is fact isn't necessairly really true - i handle carefully everything about acient stories

  • This is an excellent example of the subtlety of propaganda documentary. Mr. Spock on Star Trek was a huge pop culture icon. Not in the 60s when Star Trek first aired, but later when Star Trek was syndicated on TV. Mr. Spock was the most logical and analytic television character. We trust the sound of this voice to give us the cold-hard facts, even if the video is edited in bias for artists' sake. The seventies were full of propaganda videos.

  • The White man!

  • @AngryTheWhiteman6 Ya you just keep telling yourself that.

  • is there anything like this in canada?

  • the seeker shall find the truth....so may all of us keep seeking...thanx for the shows g8! Love the universe

  • Evidence today is pretty clear that North America was "colonized" by native Americans who had a large agricultural civilization that was destroyed by smallpox brought by the De Soto conquistadores. The disease is likely to have killed around 16 million people.

  • Sirbenzo9:

Nope! The Phoenicians were caucasoid "Canaanites" from what is today (Lebanon).

The Phoenicians of Lebanon invented the western alphabet and are believed to be the first explorers of the ancient world -- thousands of years before the Moors invaded Europe in 7th century A.D.

    The Phoenicians were Pagan worshippers.

The Moors were muslims from Africa.

    _

  • The Phoenicians were polytheists. Pagan comes from the latin "Paganus" which means country person. It was an insult meaning you were a superstitious redneck/uneducated farmer. The Phoenicians worshiped the old Sumer/Babylonian gods mostly though. However, the gene marker for the Punic descendants ( those of Carthage and its colonies) I do not believe is quite the same as the Phoenician, and it is prevalent throughout the Mediterranean in men.

  • TokyoAmduas:

What do you know about the Phoenicians? I posted the genetic marker of the Phoenicians below because it is very important for ignorant people such as yourself to know their Y-DNA -- is that a crime? ;)

    _

  • The Europeans get their Phoenician DNA from the time of the Moores? I believe in that. I don't know if your a Christian or what your beliefs are, but looking into lost tribes with the exception that I deny Mormon and British Israelitism and you could find some interesting stuff.

    God Bless.

  • No problem. I'm glad you enjoyed them.

  • Thanks for posting these, awesome show.

I think the History Channel go their ideas from these shows! Brings back memories, I used to watch these when I was a kid.

  • thanks

  • what on earth are you babbling about?

and what does it have to do with this video?

  • This is a great show, I've never seen it before thanks for posting it!

  • this was from the mid 70's

  • Thanks g8trman, this was a really nice treat. Please post more if you have 'em.

  • I wish they would start reruning ISO or at least put the series on DVD.

  • This just hit the sweet spot of nostolgia for me. I am a 7 year old kid again enthralled by the TV screen. That ISO is not in a DVD collection is stupid.

  • I know where you're coming from I go gaga over ISO.

  • word....I can remember the world as a kid being full of fantasy and wonder while hearing the intro music....Spocks voice made me believe in the esoteric mysteries....

  • I right with you, Mister!!!

  • they do on the sci-fi channel.

  • If they do a DVD release, it'd better be the original edits, like these, instead of the severely mutilated versions that have run on A&E and SciFi. If the publisher wants to "correct" any errors, let 'em do it in a commentary track, not by spoiling the original.

  • @steveasat2 I like the original edits but what can you do.

  • @steveasat2 Oh God, I hadn't even thought of that, The editing is so great as it is. Hopefully some company with not much money buys it and re-releases it without touching it.

  • @steveasat2 You said it! I hate when they try to 'fix' what isn't broken.

  • I always watched In Search of, and LOVED it!

    Thanx for posting

  • Man, this was a good old show. Brings back memories.

  • Where can I find this for downloading eg a torrent site etc.

  • One of my favorite ISO episodes of all time. This and "Earth Visitors" which is even creepier. Nice work here seeing the original credits. Thanks for posting.

  • The theme music was cool and scary at the same time and fit Nemoy's narration perfectly.

  • Yes, please, please, please, please, please, we want to see the entire In search of series for real!

  • I used to watch this every weekend with my dad....thanks for bringing them back to us!

  • Thank you for uploading! Do you have more videos of this series

  • Thanks for uploading.
