This pedal is absolutely fantastic. Totally transparent and adds a great boost. No need for overwound high output pickups when you have a pedal like this.
Anthony...video is great as always, but have a suggestion for you. If you want to actually display what the pedal is doing in terms of frequency you could do a split screen w/ something like the Channel EQ in Logic (Chan EQ's Analyzer button) this would show what's actually happening in the 20hz-20khz range and allow you to not be stuck with the fat/full/warm subjective terms that we all use to describe these things instead of what's really going on from an engineering perspective.
Could be used for cooking the amp, but I think the Barber Launch pad would be better for that purpose because it has sensitivity and volume controls (as well as two channels).
You talked me into it. No actually someone else had mentioned this pedal and noted that they are currently on sale. You can save big if you go factory direct through their website.
Those are Lava Pedal Cables, you can get them in a solderless DIY kit. I have a few on my pedalboard with my Pigtronix Pedals. They are recomended by Pigtronix since their pedals are so small and enlongated.
@3:57 "aaahhh, what the heck, let's go a little more" HAHAHA

Any chance you could shoot a video and A/B the Tweed Blues Jr. against the Samamp like you did with the Tweed vs the Tolex?
