That isn't a "nappy like covering", it's called a Fundoshi, and it's a traditional Japaneese undergarment. The Sumo Wrestlers wear pretty much the same thing. They're quite comfortable, too, for what it's worth.

some of them look so drunk at the start already. That water sounds cool and they sound like girls (sometimes) when they go in. Looks crazy weird, and heaps of fun at the same time. *^__^* thanks for sharing
