Unless you guys are fucking retarded, this is a launch coaster. Everything that "blasts" is a damn launch coaster. "Blast" is in the NAME only!

Blast coasters don't use fucking wheels, everything that shoots you out instead of a chain or cable lift is launched. Ok? I'm not wrong, I know that for a fact.

@Tjtjboy: The blast is only in the beginning I suppose, though the Volcano was pretty fast throughout the thing.

Launch is the entire ride... suppose The King Da Ka was launched at mega speed and continued at mega speed?

The Volcano is pretty fast but it does slow down alot when it rolls out the top of the volcano just like kingda ka when it reaches the top of the 456 foot hill. Don't think Volcano would be a good example.

I went on this one yesterday for the very first time! Then we went right before park closing and we were the LAST rid of the night, front seat..we had the ENTIRE train to ourselves =D it was glorious..the speed is amazing!

That coaster kicks serious butt! If you have not been on it then you need to! 0-70mph in under 3 seconds! It rates a strong 9 on my scale of 1-10. One of my absolute favorites!

People they do not shoot fire out of the volcano after you shoot out of it. That would be just dangerous and stupid. They do shoot fire out of the volcano when there's no one on the ride.

for those who havnt been on it it has TWO linear injections...just like in nitro or kinda ka....once when you pull out of the station and another when your "erupting" out of the top of the volcano. PLUS they have pyrotechnics so as you come shooting out of the top, a large fireball shoots up. When i went on it wasnt working so i dont know if they shoot it before or after you emerge....probably after.

They do not stop to use cameras during the ride are done without they know it. I try to take the tied or fastened camera with both hands
