  • Very interesting use of mixed media techniques! I use a time lapse vcr to record my hand drawn animation onto vhs tape and I later copy that onto dvd-ram. The video lunchbox for the same purpose came later but I made a lot of progress with what I have! Viewers watching this might enjoy my hand drawn fantasy animation with dialog, narration, fantasy creatures,( centaurs, merpeople, etc.) BALDER'S EGG, THE MAGIC ARROWS, THE BLIZZARD, THE WINGED SANDALS on my channel page on you tube!

  • Nice vid and music, did u make the music too?

  • were can i buy the pegs?

  • This is soo amazing! You sure are very talented! I just adore the way you do this, and my favourite character is the one in the beginning with the beautiful blue tail :3

  • @Bappelabs Thank you :) That is Sumi! She is a 7-tailed fox and is my original character and story <3

  • This is probably a stupid question to ask....but what subject requirements does it take to do this stuff?

  • where is your college? i need to get in to it when i graduate high school

  • Savannah College of Art and Design(SCAD for short) is in Georgia but it is really costly to go to. :(

  • pretty cool animation, you could try this on one of those online contests like yobi film

  • not bad for a beginner. keep it up.

  • you are good...can you also upload your final reel whenever its done?

  • You really do some fantastic stuff! You are so talented! Adored the puppet work, and you had some really neat little animations C:

  • Wow, great work. I made some stop-action things, but none compare to your animations. Awesome job, truely gold. :3

  • Really good, do you have the programs, so others like me can do the same? ;)

  • Programs used included Photoshop CS3, Stop Motion Pro, Adobe After Effects, Flipbook (to capture/time the pencil tests), Maya 7 and Flash. All programs I own legally or used my college's computers. :P So I suggest you do the same!

  • Nice, thanks, will do ^^

  • Awesome! How did you get those drawn things to computer?

  • The pencil tests were captured with a simple program called 'Flipbook'. It uses a videocamera on a tripod facing down connected to the computer. You put the animation paper under it one drawing at a time (on the animation pegs so it lines up) and click a button to snap each frame. :3 Easy!

  • Ok, thanks for the information :P

  • this is awesome! really good, love how you got every thing so smooth, wish i could animate like this, but i guess its lots of training, and stuff lol

  • Golden, seriously.

    Golden.

  • Wow! That was so amazing! Keep up the good work!

  • Those were all fantastic. ^^ I really liked the kitsune. All the animations were really smooth too!
