This is a very good explanation of what happened and I'm glad someone has finally got to the truth of the matter. I think the conspiracy about the oil spill was all about blame avoidance/diverting on the part of the US federal government and their failure to put in place adequate safeguards and regulate off-shore oil drilling. My roommate is a computer science major and is doing his Final Project on the code for the Deep Sea Horizon installation, and pretty much they did a terrible job. There was an alarm going off that the installation was going to explode, but... They forgot to put an alarm system to tell human beings that something was wrong. its like having a car alarm that doesn't make any sound but just flash a blinking light! Stupidity not Conspiracy. BP has recently made an enormous deal with Russia to drill right in Arctic Circle. If I remember correctly from news article it states that with BP's Huge Expert knowledge in drilling, and Russian government assistance the project would be a huge success.

@pzmtuthcvpvl Have you considered that the mississippi river and other rivers empty into the gulf which would supply much needed nitrogen to feed the algae? The water is warm, they need a lot of warm water and a big area, the companies are poised and investors lined up, and producing algae fuel is already extremely cost effective at about 2 dollars a barrel, and that is even without the reduced costs of feeding the algae with nitrogen.

There is a Super Volcano I have been telling for years since I found out about it in the Gulf of Mexico. There are two active Super Volcanos Gulf of Mexico and Yellowstone. Hudson Bay has not gone active yet.

@pzmtuthcvpvl Have you considered that the mississippi river and other rivers empty into the gulf which would supply much needed nitrogen to feed the algae? The water is warm, they need a lot of warm water and a big area, the companies are poised and investors lined up, and producing algae fuel is already extremely cost effective at about 2 dollars a barrel, and that is even without the reduced costs of feeding the algae with nitrogen.

But they do require large tracts of warm water and land, and oil prices are falling. with such a large oil deficit, and supposedly increasing tensions in the straight of hormuz and imminent iran hostilities, do falling oil prices make sense? Alternatively it could all just be metals related subterfuge.

I heard what they are trying to do is find a place to farm algae for fuel instead of drilling for oil. so obama had to basically do it illegally because that is the perfect location for such a venture. the investors , technology, and companies are already lined up. but the process of litigation and congressional approval would have taken too long, combined with the very sad state of the economy this could end up being a prudent move, cept for they who must move now of course.

Truther Girls.... Do you think Matt Simmons is grossly incorrect to say that most of the oil is in a massive body under water? Hes saying that the blowout left no other way to stop it besides a nuclear device and that the amount of oil coming out of the ground is unprecedented. He seems to know what hes talking about to me.

This is shock capitalism working to it's finest. The U.S have perfected the use of making disasters both profitable and political. Whether or not you believe it was govt sabotage is irrelevant, I can guarantee this disaster will be used as the impoetus for gathering public support around carbon trading; a fundamentally insidious tax that has no environmental benefits at all. It's so obvious where this is going but of course nothing will be done about it and they will be successful in there plan

If people had private property rights (including ocean rights) BP would have been forced to enter regulatory agreements with private land/water owners. Now Obama is extorting $s fom BP & violating the U.S. Constitution.
Govt gave collusion corrupt crony access under the condition that itt regulate it. Govt was corrupt and did not regulate.
Solution - separation between state & business.
Mexican government created a greater oil spill in the same Gulf by being corrupt too.
