Radio talk show host Mike McConnell stops by Channel 9

When I first started listening to Mike, AM radio was a punch line. He's the Gold Standard for talk radio. His well-thought out ideas and fact-based arguments (Doing something "...for the children" just dosen't cut it with Mike) have made me every politicians' worst nightmare: An informed voter. I heard his first week at WGN and realized the vacuum he left in Cincinnati radio. Thank God for the internet!

I will let ya all know how the show does as I drive in and around chicago for work on a daily basis. Mike IS the best radio talk show host I have ever found. Wish he was my neighbor. That would be one smart and cool neighbor!

We love you Mike. I hope your new gig in Chicago will allow us Cincinnatians to listen to you by internet audio streaming or pod-casting. I'm sure you will seem very fresh and enlightening to the Chicago listeners.

I'll miss Mike's show on WLW. Listening to him was always apart of my day. I will just have to get used to him being on WGN radio. Good luck, Mike!

Mikey will be missed greatly. His wisdom and common sense have really helped shape my views. I would vote for him to be "Earth Czar" any day.
