  • Look,let's be honest,the queen probably was quietly cringing on behalf of poor President Obama.And anyway,why hadn't the palace given him sufficient data on all things protocol? Surely both sides will have checked over his speech & would've known to point out that the minute he said "The Queen..." that the national anthem would strike up & everyone would shut up! So not his fault at all. And it's well known the queen has a wicked sense of humour & probably had a quiet chuckle with Obama later.
