I think that this song is about someone who's been prescribed some sort of prescription drug (most likely antidepressants) and is now in such a deeply bad situation that taking these prescribed pills will no longer do them any good - either emotionally or actually helping them physically.

I think that this track is meant to oppose the false sense of security that can come with prescription drugs, not overall drug use.

The faster pacing is what happens when people get deeper in drug/pill use... their world falls apart. The very end shows a choice and a positive outcome of avoiding drugs/pill.

I wanted this to be an anti-drug video without looking like an anti-drug video. It's very hard to creates those kinds of messages.
