Así como digo que NW, no debería poner a cantar a Anette sus antiguas canciones, tambien digo que Tarja debería empezar a ser lo mismo, sobre todo en las canciones donde participaba Marco, esa etapa ya se acabo.

Umm i thought she was all about classical music,is why she wanted out,well all i see here is Marshall stacks very odd.She had a few songs that suited her opera type voice,but on a whole,driving music does not fit her well.Everdream was a classic song that just written perfect for her,but it will be hard to write more songs like that for her.

She is fucking awesome. Nightwish without Tarja is holy crab. They sound like baby Metal on Dark Passion Play. They've lost their dynamic. Tuomas is a *piep* he will kick his ass, because he has kicked the most incredible voice in metal. She and Doro worked for, that women in metal will accepted!

People forgot the melody and the words that support Tarja's voice to produce what it was when she sings Nightwish songs. I believe that Tarja would hardly be as famous without Nightwish not in the 'metal world' anyway. And though I believe Tarja played a big key in the sucess of Nightwish. They both kickstarted each other and now they are off on their own for better of for worse.

neighter would be Nightwish if they started with anette. they would be another metal band which wouldn't be popular. Nemo is what made them extremlly popular. Wishmaster made them just popular. not amaranth like people think nor bye bye beatutiful. Wish i had an angel original vid had around 20-40 million views. so did Nemo original vid.

i truly couldn't care less about Nightwish now. they said new album is gonna be "happier and lighter"...end of tunnel....end of nightwish

Some of the songs of DPP were suited to Tarja's voice because they were written before her dismissal like Poet and the Pendulum and Toumas said he didn't change it around to suit her voice and I'm pretty sure for other songs too. Thats why I reckon the new album will sound different and Toumas said there be will a 'twist'. I reckon we should all make our opinions then.

i cloudn't care less for Nightwish anymore...they lost all my respect. Not cuz' they fired Tarja , no, i hate them for their Open letter. i have friends in Argentina you know? it was disturbing for me to read that.

but i have that feeling that now that anette is pregnant....she wont stay long in Nightwish. She already thought of solo career and she has a manager and she confirmed that comunication in the band SUCKS.

@ISeeAnIdiot Yes but at first they weren't as dark Angels fall first-Wishmaster. And some of their best songs came from this era. And maybe their definition of lighter is different from ours. I mean come on it's Nightwish, how light could they really get. You should keep up with their diary, They have a 20 minute long song in the works.

Go Tarja! Haha I love how the crowd goes crazy when those distinguishing notes are played, which makes it obvious she's singing Dead Gardens. It's great that she's throwing in some Nightwish songs that were never performed live. She always did say there were songs she always wished to play live, but the band never did. She sounded so great around 3:25 and on ^_^ I love how she reinterprets the song a bit.

I was there and Im glad she still sings NW songs cause personally I don't wanna hear them sung by anyone else, she didnt write them but she made them her own,this concert was awesome, her voice is unique

Im so glad she can still sing Nightwish songs, it just show's that shes moved on. I mean come on Tuomas (and im not saying anything bad about him this is just a fact) but Tuomas cant even comment on Tarja's new Album he pleads a "No Comment" and Tarja when asked about the new Nightwish album said it was exciting....just show's to me who the better person is. (and there again im not saying that Tuomas is horriable im just saying that he can grow up about this situation)

I guess some people con't deal with such a hectic situation but you have to admit that whole business of the dismissal of Tarja-I mean Tarja can move on and none of that except the emotional side of being fired and then getting hurt especailly when they showed the letter publicly. Cos she was just a singer (an amazing one too) but Toumas is left with the band and the hard decisions of putting it back together again.

@RenesmeeCarlie1987 I know Anette put off with a wrong start but she has gotten better and I reckon we just had to give it time. Though Toumas should really put all his hurt to rest. Because he loved Tarja and she was his friend and he thought it was better if he fired her because she was becoming a daunting factor of the band etc. Its been 6 years. Toumas should get up and start working. He even said himself he will never make such a dark album before which means he will probably get over it.

Tarja would be nothing without Nightwish... The only reason she rose above all other singers is because of he role in a symphonic metal band and a beautiful voice. She was introduced to metal by them. Without NW she would only be singing classical music and it would sound nothing like "My Winter Storm" and and she would be unknown to the rest of the world ... she has a godess' voice but you're right, singing these songs only contradicts her reason for wanting to leave...

I did not say she is nothing without Nightwish. She is an amazing vocalist, perhaps the one of the best of our time. I said that, had she not joined Nightwish, you and I would probably not have known her because it's together they rose to international glory and it's with them she was taught the art of symphonic metal. The same goes for the rest of Nightwish... they really needed one another to really stick out of the croud. The present is completely different though...

She doesn't play "a lot of nightwish songs", she plays just some of them and we appreciate it a lot because there's no way we can listen to the old era properly any other way. And she already cleared out, several times, that she didn't mean that commentary at all; she was angry at the moment and regretted it immediately. I hope this can help you to move on ;)
