I will attempt this in a school project tomorrow but I don't think it will turn out to good as i can't even make a simple square out of a rectangle...
Hi there, Great vid ;) Is that a spiral balde or a normal blade ? As Nancy say s i have trouble spinning my work like that without blades snapping and am using pin end 15 tpi blades if thats any help ? Thanks
@ddanchuk Thank you for getting back to me :) I have been watching more of your videos and some others and have got it now.. It just kinda "clicked" im sure you know what i mean :) Thanks again
@NancyToday Hey Nancy, you should have no problem doing this. Perhaps your blade is too thick, try a thinner blade. The foot pedal helps so that you can control the speed in the corners.
@ford4373 The black hose is an adjustable air blower, blows all the sawdust away from the cutting area, and blows extremely cold air when cutting outside in Canadian winters...so glad my wife finally let me in...
awesome! thank you for making this! Just searching for a new tool for future projects and didn't know what a scroll saw was. This is exactally what I need! Thank you again!
It all depends on what size thickness of material you are cutting. This was cust pine, which is soft, so you can use a really thin blade and make really sharp turns.
I do highly recommend getting a foot pedal though, so you can use both hands when turning sharply, or for trying to go straight as well for that matter.
Anyone tried cutting hard cover books. I do a lot a crafts and have some great ideas for cut out but don't want to buy a saw until I know it will work.
are these hard to use, were starting to use them in Res Mat and i was just wondering how hard they are to use, are they really hard or is it like a sewing machine or summin
@jforsy01 Not sure what part of what country you're from, but do a search for Dewalt Scrollsaw, and you should be able to find out the price for you locally.
Yes, you can get blades for cutting metals, including coins. Haven't experimented much with it, but you can do some pretty interesting things with it.

Spiral blade **
UKSHTFSurvival 3 months ago
@UKSHTFSurvival Just a normal blade. I'm not a fan of spiral blades for the stuff I do. Don't force the blades, let them do their work.

its a saw blade.there's all kinds of blade types. it just depends on what you want to cut, thickness, curves,..... all that stuff.
pvfd512 2 years ago
its just a string?? or a saw/
SthealthRaider 2 years ago
its a really thin blade, like 1/8th, it goes up and down and very easy to make curves.
olecow3 2 years ago
that is a very good idea
