  • hey no big deal, they could learn how to live like this and ignored the flood and water.

  • So they guy is explaining how old the market (50 yrs) is and the temples (from what dynasty/kingship) across the water are. And how high the water is today and how high they're expecting the water to be (highest on the 29th and the 31st) and that the market needs to be careful. Water should recede around the 10th and 11th (about 3 weeks). We'll have to see within the next 3-4 days how much the water is first.

  • The locals are used to this amount of flooding, but we'll have to tell them on what days it will be higher. Is it a good idea to be in Bangkok? For locals in this market, they're used to this amount of flooding, but for foreigners, they'll probably be shocked at this amount of water but for locals, it's normal.

  • Do you believe what the government is saying about the water? This isn't easy to answer because the factors that cause the water to get higher are not just from the water coming from the lake or the water from the north, it can come from the wind, from the rain, it can come from things that can't be controlled.

  • It would be good if you can show how empty are the shop like in 7-11/Tesco/BigC and others. as of now is hard to get anything due to the fact that all of them are empty of food to buy.
