So sad to watch this on Sukkot 5770 (2009) when the Islamic Movement in Israel fomented harsh violence that wounded dozens of policemen and caused the Temple Mount to be closed to Jews, Catholics and members of all non-Muslim faiths.

That is the main reason that ALL violence against Israel must stop. The Christian and Muslim World must be the firsts to DEFEND the possibility of ONE ISRAEL as a State and a Nation to live in Peace. My Oncle´s Parrot "new" manny words&sounds.One day all city went without water. The Parrot was thirsty. Someone gave him water from a old backyard's water well and the Parrot died!. The only pragmatic resolution that I can think of - excepting an [almost miraculous] eminent national t'shuvah - to resolve these travesties of justice, is to do everything possible to encourage aliyah of Torah Jews.

If a number of charities temporarily shifted their focus towards this end - some programs would be sidelined for awhile - then the transformation of Ha Ertez, to Holy Land, would happen quickly, and consequently, the construction of Beith HaMiqdash initiated.
